Ravenshill House Hotel

We began our stay with dinner, which was home cooked and enjoyable after a long day of traveling. The food was good, but not outstanding. Dinner is served in a restaurant open to the public (not just hotel guests). The atmosphere of our stay was more like a hotel, less like a B&B. The room we stayed in was large, but did not fit the style of the house. The house is conveniently near the motorway, but far enough away to avoid any noise. Breakfast was very good and included in the room rate.

We managed to book a table in the bar next to the open fire on Saturday night, we had a sirloin steak and a chicken curry from the specials board. My husband had one of the biggest and best steaks I've tasted and the curry was perfect, just the right level of heat so you could taste of the flavours. Would recommend this place to anyone passing and all my friends. Will be heading back soon!
