For those of you with an interest in nursing history you might like this video of an event in Edinburgh called "Nursing Stories from the First World War" from November 2018. It celebrates two amazing nurses, Mairi Chisholm (Scottish) and Elsie Knocker (English), who were very active on the front lines in Belgium throughout WW1 :) http://bit.ly/2sy6wmc
New materials to support new conversations & raise awareness of equality & inclusion issues on their way to local RCN branches. Being bolder & more courageous in advocating for equality & inclusion is the ambition for the RCN & its members. Which is why these new materials have been produced - to support RCN branches to raise awareness & start conversations about fundamental issues. The RCN believes it is important to take the lead on equality & inclusion, demonstrating accountability as an organisation & supporting members to start new conversations in their local areas. Our new resources are a great beginning. Find out more about the RCN’s approach to equality & inclusion http://bit.ly/2ANV62x
