We are really excited to have put together an incredible programme, and have been humbled by the number of prestigious speakers who are coming along to give you an insight into their profession!
... From Procurator Fiscals, Defence Solicitors and Sheriffs to Police Scotland, Family Mediators and QCs, our speakers will give you an insight into their role within the legal sector and be able to answer any questions you may have during our two Q&A panels!

Great to be involved in Dundee Widening Access to Medical School Society and Medic Insight Dundee 's Exploring Careers in Healthcare last night at Ninewells.
Brilliant to see so many young people exploring their options and healthcare professionals from lots of different areas coming together to inspire and inform. Collaboration is so important, and Reach were delighted to be part of this!

We want to let you know about a brilliant opportunity to see life at the Scottish Bar when the Faculty of Advocates holds an Open Day on Monday 6 May.
The aim of the Open Day is to give those interested in a career in advocacy an insight into the Bar and how to become an Advocate. There will be a tour of Parliament House, Edinburgh, home of Scotland's Supreme Courts - the Court of Session and the High Court... of Justiciary - as well as seminars and workshops with practicing Advocates.
Gordon Jackson, QC, Dean of Faculty, said: ŌĆ£Advocacy is an exciting and interesting profession, involving speaking up for others and defending their rights. The Faculty welcomes people from all backgrounds, and will be delighted to give our young guests on Open Day a glimpse of a career which could be for them.ŌĆØ
This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about careers within the legal sector - remember, this is something Admissions Officers like to see on your personal statement - and I would strongly encourage you apply if a career in law is something you are keen to pursue.

This is a brilliant opportunity to get involved volunteering in a healthcare environment, and would give you great experience to talk about on your personal statement and - later down the line - at interviews.
... You would get the chance to chat, play board games and organise social activities for patients, help with preparation for discharge and at the same time support your NHS staff.

Dundee Medic Insight and Dundee Widening Access to Medical School society are introducing a new event for S1-S3 pupils interested in science!
Their Exploring Careers in Healthcare event will take place on 15th May 2019 in Ninewells Medical School, and will give pupils (and parents!) an insight into different careers in health sector.

What a brilliant night we had on Friday as we ran our annual Emergency Care workshop! ­¤æ®ŌĆŹŌÜĢ’ĖÅ­¤æ©ŌĆŹŌÜĢ’ĖÅ­¤īĪ­¤Ü©
We kicked off by learning CPR and life saving skills with John Ramsay, then jumped straight into our ABCDE stations, which were a storming success!
A big well done to all the pupils who came along - we were really impressed by your enthusiasm and by how quickly you grasped some tricky life-saving skills. ŌŁÉ’ĖÅ
... A GIANT thank you to DECCS and all of the students who were involved too - you made the stations super informative and great fun, and it was brilliant to work alongside you!

Saturday's snowy weather didn't stop these keen beans from coming along to our Reach Tayside Mooting Day! ŌØä’ĖÅ
What a brilliant bunch - the students and I were so impressed by the levels of enthusiasm shown, and how quickly you grasped the concept of mooting. A few of you could have continued rebutting into the wee hours of Sunday morning, I think! ­¤æ®ŌĆŹŌÜ¢’ĖÅ­¤æ©ŌĆŹŌÜ¢’ĖÅ
So proud of all of the hard work our incredible Law students put into this event too - thank you for being such brilliant... ambassadors for the University of Dundee. ŌŁÉ’ĖÅŌŁÉ’ĖÅ
