Making a couple of really subtle changes makes a huge impact. . If I have a soda and lime out of a Normal straight soft drink glass I feel I’m missing out on a glass of wine. . If I have it out of a wine glass I couldn’t give a monkeys that it’s not wine. .... The same with a G&T.. I’m actually quite happy to have it with just the “T” . It’s the ritual rather than the thing itself that I want more. . Might seem a bit loopy but our brains are fascinating things. . It doesn’t mean I never have a drink but actually when you realise these little things it makes a big difference. . Portion control made easy ================================ . Just to illustrate how much we have removed the hassle for you in terms of portion control and calorie counting.
We know to lose weight we need to eat less than we burn off and to gain we need to eat more.
... The portion guide we give you at the beginning is calculated so that it is in line with a rough guide of calories that you need to lose weight (over time). . We take notice of how we feel, if we feel satisfied, follow the habits and pay attention to HOW we are eating and find that we feel better and feel satisfied. . Couple this with looking at the types of foods we are eating (it doesn’t have to be expensive) and we start to level out cravings, lose weight, or gain weight if needed, level out hunger hormones, regulate reproductive hormones, stress hormones and begin to feel better very quickly.
The photos below show how simple we’ve made for you. . This is breakfast yesterday, done to my portion sizes outlined in the guide. . The second photo show the energy calculated as I’ve put it into my fitness pal (for illustration purposes, I personally don’t track every calorie, because I find it is not a way I enjoy.) . .
This will leave me comfortably within my very modest deficit for today. . Leaves me feeling good, satisfied and hurting what I need to without feeling I’m weighing and recording everything. . An awareness of what you eat doesn’t have to come down to counting every calorie. . We give you a simple way of managing your portions, with all of that done for you so you don’t have to worry about that.

Don’t regret the choices you make =========================================
If I could give you one piece of solid gold advice I give to my Academy members it would be the above statement 👆
... Maybe you over ate this weekend, had a few too many to drink, but you spent time with loved ones and loved their company.
Maybe you stayed totally on track with what you wanted to achieve health wise but you turned down social events in the process so that you could do that.
Neither is wrong, it's just about how you felt and what is important to you.
Sometimes there will be a mixture of the two.
Whatever you have done, don't regret the decisions you make.
I've been on both ends of the spectrum at different times. Had to leave my sisters 18th Birthday party because I had a big fight the next day, and didn't get to raise a glass of champers with her.
Have totally de-railed and gone whole weekends at festivals with no consideration for what I was eating or what I was doing.
Both of these things I have no regrets because they were decisions I made. I won the fight, and had a great festival weekend.
I learned from them and now have much more balance and the swing of the pendulum is so much less.
Both times it was what I wanted to do and I have no regrets about them. Don't waste time trying to justify your decision or sitting in guilt and shame.
Accept the decision, move forwards & learn in the way you need too.
