Karate Classes

No non-sense practical personal defence seminars designed to meet the needs of all, from the indavidual to the company. Taught in a relaxed and comfortable manner, seminars concentrate on the "do's" and the "don'ts" of the street, the car park and the home. With minimal physical exertion, these seminars are particularly suitable for ladies groups, employees engaged in shift work and elderly seminars are constructed and taken by R. Steele who has been involved in this type of work for over 25 years.

The Red Gate Karate group, an acknowledged centre of excellence within Fife karate circles are looking for future champions young or not so young to comence training at our H. Q. at the YMCA, Hendry Crescent, Kirkcaldy, where our fully equipped "gym" will assist you to achieve whatever level you wish, be it local to national standard.

All classes at the red gate are taken by KIRKCALDY'S LEADING AUTHORITY ON KARATE ROY STEELE 5th DAN, a former SKF Scottish /British team champion, forms champion and international fighter.

All coaches at the red gate karate group hold the minimum rank of 3rd Dan, unlike other clubs in the area who may have 1st or 2nd Dans as their senior instructors /coaches. Our commitment to providing the very highest standards to our young students curtails us from using our lower dan grades.
