Top massage by tom at sano. Could have laid there all day

My son is so shy and not very confident, but Dean is great with him during his swimming lessons. He loves all the songs we do and playing with the toys. I hope there's a space on an evening or weekend after Christmas when I go back to work so we can continue :) the lessons are really helping his confidence :) I just wish the pool was a bit warmer :)

User

Just been to the family fun day which was put on today for free, brilliant for the kids it wasn't too packed, they had a few fun activities to do and face painting was class. Nice to see the staff watching the kids on the bouncy castle aswell so they were safe. Well done

User

I use twice a week to keep fit staff are all friendly and helpful, pool is fab and just what Redcar needs, swim lessons are great just hard getting my children with the teacher that bring best out in them, I'd love it if more classes could be done that's all I feel lacks as with working some classes only once a week, that I'd love to do I find I can't and I don't want to drive to Saltburn. Keep up the good work and friendly warm service you all give

User

Great centre great People, highly recommend the PT Trainer called Weston

User

Can't find a reason to complain. I use the gym every other day and take the only live body pump class followed by body balance (also a live class) once a week straight after. There was talk of making these two classes virtual but the centre listened to the people and kept them going and numbers have now increased and keep increasing. Maybe a second live class could be on the cards?????? I would certainly be interested as virtual just does not appeal to me at all. I like classes with an instructor.

User

Absolutely love the Boogie Fit, LBT and Total Toning classes - they make me want to exercise, they're really fun and make you work hard at the same time.

User

Went along for the fun day, great to have a free event on that keeps the kids active rather than paying for more toys.

User

This is amazing place for me and my family to take the kids swimming as the staff and facilities are amazing but the water in the pool is so so cold. U need to warm it up just a bit please. we are only able to keep the younger kids in the water about 30 minutes as there shivering bless them

User

Love it, pool is lovely and the gym is great, always someone around to ask if you need help. My teenage daughter goes by herself sometimes and alot of gyms she wouldn't even be old enough to be a member. Wish they would allow teen member to use the steam room and classes though x

User

Its a lovely clean center . I find it too costly tho . Membership fees are too high and so are single visit fees . I only want to swim . There are no swim only memberships ,or options to pay for blocks of swimmimg like other centers offer. If fees were lower i would probably use the gym too

User

Came here today from out of the area to try the Flowrider for the first time as my daughters had vouchers for presents. My teenage daughters had a fantastic time and the instructor (wish I could remember his name to pass on praise!) was brilliant. I think we may have been lucky as there were only 2 other people booked on so they were given lots of attempts and lots of attention! Impressed for a first visit and will return for the Flowrider. Thank you!

User

Only half off pool open and still had to pay full price and not allowed to use a snorkel wich isn’t much different two goggles

User

The reception, gym and cleaning staff are very helpful and friendly. Sadly being a private company means that they value profits instead of customers. The ladies gym showers have been ice cold for two months and despite complaints they do NOTHING. Management initially denied the problem and 3 weeks ago said they were dealing with it. That sort of attitude to customers is disgusting. I fear that demonstrates a lack of maintenance and investment..

User

Not sure where to start. Booked a Battlezone party for my 10 year old son and nephew which cost £96 for an hour's play then 30 mins for food (which I paid caterers for separately) Anyway the details for the party clearly state that it is 'coached' but this party that we paid for and invited all their friends to was NOT coached at all, there was a coach there but he didn't interact with the kids (he appeared young and shy) he was out of the room for almost 15 mins then when he was in the room he just sat on a chair watching them. This is not a personal dig at this young lad as I don't know him or the circumstances, but what I do know is the centre should not put someone who lacks those skills to coach that type of party. The kids were also getting frustrated due to the amount of broken bullets and some nerf guns that didn't work and they basically just ran around the sports hall shooting one another (something they do in my house with their own nerf guns) there was no games, battles or end goals due to the total lack of structure. I'm absolutely gutted and annoyed with the whole thing as it spoilt 2 boys birthdays.

User

Not a bad centre (apart from the leg extension and leg curl machines), but six quid is too much for a gym session. I thought this was a public / council leisure centre, that should be encouraging everyone to take part in activity, not just those that want to spend three days a week exercising indoors. Some of us do outdoor activities as well. Staff are great, centre is clean, but the price is too high to drop in the once a week I'd like to use it.

User

It's OK. My issue is they charge more than other leisure centres even though they are with the 'everyone active' which doesn't seem right. I had to cancel my membership due to this. There are also no big slides in the pool or wave machine which I expected from a new centre. Lockers are far too small, could be more showers when your cold from getting out of pool N sometimes temperature of pool is cold. Plus paying for parking isn't good! Overall tho it's OK N glad to have a leisure centre in Redcar :)

User

I messaged the leisure centre to enquire about the Active Antz toddler sessions and was told that they run on Tuesday and Friday mornings. My son and I caught a bus from Saltburn to attend the Tuesday morning session only to be told that it wasn't on and they only run on a Friday. Very annoying for me and very disappointing for my 2 year old
