Redcastle Mill Scotland Holiday Cottage

Redcastle Mill is a family holiday cottage in South West Scotland. Set in the rural outskirts of Haugh of Urr village, it has room for 6 people.

Surrounded by farmland and woodland it’s the ideal place to spend your holiday in this beautiful part of Southwest Scotland. Short drive to the local towns and beaches or enjoy fishing, golf or forest walks. Relax in the friendly local village pub which serves fabulous food and real ales!

The area caters for all ages and tastes. It’s a three mile drive to the nearest town of Castle Douglas where all your shopping needs are catered for. A very friendly town with some wonderful unique shops, lots of eating places, beautiful park with boating lake. The surrounding area is full of exciting places to visit, Threave Castle, Wildlife Park, Chocolate Factory and many more.

Lovely beaches only a short drive away including Sandyhills and Colvend or if walking is your passion there are some beautiful coastal walks along Kippford and Rockcliffe. Enjoy a forest walk in Mabie and Dalbeattie which is also the home of the 7 Stanes Mountain Biking routes which are among the best in Europe!
