I don't normally add google reviews however when trying to buy a second hand car last year I found all the garages I googled had a mix of some great and some really poor reviews. A friend recommended Redpath and Maclean and on visiting them I ended up buying the second car I testdrove. It was good to be let out for test drives unaccompanied and also not to have a salesman breathing down your neck or trying to talk you into buying (or laying down a deposit) - a more relaxed experience than most garages I'd read about. When I picked the car up the following week they had also resolved two of the minors noted on the last MOT (which was 4 months old) and had replaced the front tyres and brake discs at some cost to themselves. 6 months on the car (2009 plate) is still going strong and I've not had any issues with it. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good second hand garage to visit.
