I didn’t go to a Private School, but if I had done I would have liked it to be Strathallan School, Forgandenny, Perth. Imagine meeting this sight on the way into lessons - something else! I’m taking parents to a Ball here tonight.....

If people want a discreet, extremely fast “shuttle” to airports, we do that too...

I had time to go the scenic route to EDI today and beautiful it was!

The owner Murray Cameron, the friends Shug, George, Colin and me at camera Donald, the horse Eagle Ridge, and the jockey Lucy (all at a beautiful and sunny Ayr Racecourse). Marvellous day out!!

Herman the German hangs around The Witchery by Edinburgh Castle quite frequently. Food is supposed to be exceptional, but it’s for my clients only - a little above my pay grade! Beautiful building and Herman rather suits it......

Another day, another dollar - some sunrise!

Now that’s what you call a shine! And then the bride was gone..

I know I rave about Kinloch House Hotel Perthshire , but the food is exceptional! Innesclare and I go on a 3 weekly basis with 2 lovely regular customers, and what makes it even better is that we never pay. The hotel has 20 estates for shoots (I know not everyone’s cup of tea) in the near vicinity, which fills its rooms and keeps it buoyant. The staff treat you like royalty, but have just the right way of doing it. I’ve added Hank the beautiful cat across the road from us (who doesn’t like shoots) just because of his serene handsomeness and calm.

And it’s off to The Fairmont again - it’s a hive of activity!

Drop off just outside St. Andrews to helicopter. Things are on the up in many ways...

Great food at The Royal Hotel Comrie; when we and our customers emerged from lunch the external car thermometer (in shade) registered 33.5 C! This is Scotland right? 🧐

When going into my favourite restaurant recently I had to laugh....! Ford Focus with white ribbon held on with grey duck tape. I thought cheapskates...! Got inside to choose from the marvellous £9.95 3-course lunch menu and was swallowed up in the happiest/most civilised wedding party with laughter filling the air (laughter probably aided by how little the wedding was costing and how the “keep up with the Joneses” world is a fool!!). I do very reasonably priced wedding transport in my S-Class Mercedes, but I get it folks....some people just don’t need all the pomp and ceremony. All the very best to the happy couple who will have been superbly fed for minuscule money....no wonder they were laughing!!!!!

Early for a flight at EDI, popped into Holiday Inn for breakfast, came out to get into Merc and saw the last thing I expected to see at an airport, but what a gorgeous boy.....! To do with the Highland Show obviously 💚
