I offer Reiki services for animals of all kinds - pets, domestic animals, zoo animals, wild animals - using traditional Usui Reiki techniques.

Reiki is a natural healing energy that promotes the ability of the body to regenerate itself. The Japanese word 'Reiki' means Universal Life force Energy. The Reiki therapist channels this energy to the patient by means of a light touch or by holding the hands over the patient's body. Reiki can also be given by distance healing. Reiki supports orthodox veterinary treatment and is not a substitute for traditional veterinary medication or treatment. In the case of animals with health issues, owners should confirm that the animal has been seen by a veterinary surgeon to obtain a veterinary diagnosis before requesting Reiki for their animal. Reiki therapists do not diagnose an animal's condition. Reiki is not based on any religion, belief or suggestion. Scientific research using quantum theory is starting to show how Reiki may work to benefit the recipient.
