Today is my 1st relax kids anniversary ๐ what an amazing year it has been. I have met so many inspirational people and had so much fun along the way.

What makes our family happy. Very interesting activity with the kids. Harper said spending time with mum, Kade playing football with dad at white hills park and having a picnic. Both said being together and both like food!
I expected toys etc so to see what they really feel makes them happy makes my heart burst. We focus on money and buying things but time is free and something that is far more valuable than any amount of money or toys. Enjoy the time you have in ways that imprints on your kids hearts x

As a parent with young kids Iโm not looking forward to future heart break as my kids navigate their way through the ups and downs of relationships.

Fear monster and I are in need of a good sleep. Itโs been a busy few days but I love my job. Relax kids sessions really make a difference, especially in the current climate of anxiety and worry. The storm will pass but these skills will remain with them for the next one.

Another busy day today. A fun nursery session based on Aliens love underpants.
We popped on our pingy pants and flew around in space. We used our massive alien hands to practice calm breathing before having a nice relax listening to a visualisation all about flying ๐
Some great ideas for anxiety. These ideas are explored within relax kids sessions and Iโm so pleased to see Gozen included!
More info to come on Gozen as I am now licensed to offer Gozen sessions ๐ An animated programme for primary aged children to help them understand the big emotions and techniques. The interactive modules are very informative and easy to understand.
Gozen is a separate company from relax kids. Relax kids offers practical sessions, exploring techniques a...nd promoting calm, self esteem and confidence.
Go zen is an online platform using animations to gain understanding behind our emotions and how we can use this understanding to help manage those big emotions in a positive way.
Both are amazing programmes to support our children to grow into well balanced confident young people. I am so pleased to be able to offer these in Moray :)

This week Fear and I are ready to spread some love and kindness across Moray. For Valentineโs Day we are promoting the most important love of all... to love yourself for who you are.
Happy Valentines Day! A day to show others that we care and love them for being who they are. Lots of positivity and feel good vibes. Itโs also a hard day for some, especially kids. A sign of popularity, negative feelings of judgement and not fitting in ๐
Teaching kids resilience is so important so they can shake off those feelings easier, safe in the knowledge they are loved by those who matter to them. In our house Valentineโs Day is about all love. love for partners, love for parents, love for siblings and most of all love for yourself.
Start your families day by saying one thing you love about each other and one thing you love about yourself. I can love, I am loved and I love me!
In the busy world we live in itโs important to take regular brain breaks. Mindfulness is about focusing on the present, what is happening right now.
These short breaks help us stay focussed, calm and reduce stress.
