Hello! Long time no speak...this is the chair I have been busy with! It's made of solid ash and it's been a pleasure to build.

Christmas dinner will be extra special this year. It was a pleasure reupholstering the eight chairs. This family heirloom will continue for another generation. Great choice of Elgin pink mauve fabric! The two carvers are pictured Jossie x

I've been a busy bee working away at this beautiful solid wood table. The transformation was spectacular with its base painted an antique white and the table top a honey oak. It's very worthy of a sumptuous family feast...just the chairs to go! Deborah's photos are so much better and it is gorgeous in situ. Jossie x

In true Re:made style I recycled a couple of oak doors to make this footstool to a client's specification. She fell in love with the stripy fabric of a previous footstool and asked whether I could make her one. So here it is! I hope it loves its new home! Jossie x

Some friends wanted a piece of the "good life" so I was asked to build this raised bed/planter for them. Dimensions 180x90x48cm made from treated decking boards. It was great to be constructing again...I can't wait to see it filled with lots of yummy, healthy veg. Happy 13 years together!

Greetings all...This pallet clock measuring 90cm in diameter was a real labour of love for a good friend of mine. I thoroughly enjoyed the process of dismantling the pallet to creating something beautiful! It is one big clock painted in anthracite grey with the grain and some blue still peeking through. I hope you enjoy seeing the transformation. Bernardo noon, please let me see it in situ when you can!

So I've had the summer off looking after the troops at home but we've still been crafting away! This pallet bench and outdoor planter was a real family affair. We made them from a couple of pallets that I salvaged...and painted them in the colours the kids chose! Thanks to my husband, Mark for helping with construction. Neve, Samuel and Luke helped with the design, sanding and painting work! Thanks Team Almeida-cardy! Jossie X

A very wet hello to you all this morning...I have been working on this striped commission and just had to share it with you all! If you have been watching The Great British Sewing Bee you'll know how challenging pattern matching is...stripes are in a different dimension! Phew! Have a great day...Jossie x

Just spent a perfect day crafting and I finished this gorgeously, happy nursery rocking chair! I love the elephant fabric...a wonderful addition to any nursery. So if you are lucky enough to be expecting or want to treat somebody who is...this chair could be just what you're looking for! Price available upon request. Jossie xx

What do you think of this?

As some of you know, I am studying furniture design at college. This is the piece I have designed and made from scratch. I can't quite believe I made it and it turned out so much better than I had hoped it would! I am immensely proud of myself! I love my hallway storage bench made from ash. Jossie x

This chair was a real "baptism of fire"...it was a steep learning experience but a very rewarding one. I reupholstered it in a designer Elmundo teal fabric. Thank you Tina for your patience and giving me the chance to work on this beautiful chair. Its deep seat makes it a perfect place to curl up with a good book and it looks fabulous in your new sitting room! Jossie x
