lovely pub and drinks reasonably priced. fantastic selection of gin and the dj was brilliant. danced all night. staff very friendly and went out their way to help you. will defo be back . sandwiches were excellent too

Went in today with the three kids and my husband for mother's day dinner and the food was excellent, service was amazing and i had the best french martini i have had made in a long time! (My husband says that the mojito was excellent too) thanks to all! X

Went in for mothers day, and my sister wanted to come last minute, the staff added them to our table no bother. We all really enjoyed the meal everyone thought it was excellent. We found out it was a new chef and food was superb. As always excellent service. We really enjoyed our day. Would always recommend Rennies for any occasion.

Went for a meal last night, service was excellent, food was delicious!!! Definitely will go back and would highly recommend. Also held a surprise get together for my husband's 50th birthday on 3rd Sept....bar staff were fab and buffet was superb, that's what prompted us to go back last night and wasn't disappointed ��

Was in for dinner last night and all courses for all of us (5 of us) looked and tasted amazing. Compliments to the chef! The staff were lovely and very attentive too, had a great night.

Once again we had a great time in Rennies. The purpose of our get together was four friends meeting for a Christmas celebration. Delighted to say that our 2 friends who had not been to Rennies before agreed with us as regulars that the food, ambiance & service was fantastic. In fact they went over & beyond their duties by supplying us with cake & candles that we had forgotten to get for a friends Birthday!! Thanks again xx

Never been here before... was there with a freind for a rum night... place is very welcoming with friendly staff.. food looked very nice with reasonable prices... ideal place to take the missus

Myself and my sister popped in for lunch yesterday and wow it was amazing.. I had the Cajun salmon with egg noodles and my sister had the Seabass.. Service was great.. fabulous value for money and nice relaxed atmosphere.. we’ll be back �

Loved the food & service i got macaroni & there fresh cut chips so scrumptious thankyou the mackintosh desighns is my favourite lovely place to chill n a nice fresh meal or drink staff were very nice

Love coming here (from Paisley) for the great selection of 100+ gins they have on offer, and at pretty reasonable prices too.



Thoroughly enjoyed my night on Saturday just past - much prefer the background CD music to the live acts they've had on in the past (too loud for conversation unless you're sitting at the back - and I'm no moaning pensioner! Lol)



Minor suggestions that would enhance things:



* have a gin menu available ... I know it's not easy when the stock is constantly changing but a lot of bottles literally can't be seen on the shelves to tempt me yet further - so a quick simple list would be good to refer to



* advise the bar staff on garnishes - I don't mind being asked what I'd like and can refer to the Ginventory app but others may not be so prepared



* offer a slightly larger range of garnishes - there's a lot of top end gins which need more than just a citrus option



But none of the above spiked my night nor would stop me coming back!

I went to this lovely restruant with my partner and his mum for my partners birthday every thing was great, the food ,the managers and the staff and its so beautiful inside and cosy with a lovely atmosphere :) I have been here quite a few times since then and all was great!!! its one of my favourite places to go I would highly recommend rennies to everyone :) I was there today again with my partners mum and the place is beautiful the food and drinks and staff where lovely definitely a 5 star one will be back again and again and again' thank you so much to all the staff in rennies for everything from the food to the staff and the management whom have it well run and are so nice and the surroundings are so beautiful :)

I went to Rennies with my husband for a Valentine's meal. The prawn cocktail was lovely and the steak pie was delicious. Unfortunately I didn't have any space for a dessert.

Great wee place was full regularls it was quiz night and seemed like a lot fun,I was impressed with the amount of quality choice gins that they had.Malt whisky galore also.It was not expensive and staff great nice all round place to go with good company

Great food, Steak pie is fantastic one of the best around, friendly staff would definitely recommend it �

I am here now and so want to give it 5 stars food amazing but staff more interested at the bar than the restaurant

A few of us went in for a drink. Place looks lovely. Winter wonderland atmosphere. Blue flashing lights were a bit of a headache but had they been on a different setting would of been fine. Toilets were a big let down. Mouldy- damp only 1 toilet functionally. They would of been better closing the ladies altogether and using the disabled one. I would like to go back to see if the toilets have had a much needed upgrade.
