Rent Flats Dundee

My flatmate and I have been staying at one of RFD's properties on hawkhill for the past 2 years. They were initially very good at resolving issues that would come up. However once we had decided that we wouldn't be staying on further, they chose to show less and less interest in helping us out. We've had multiple issues with the delivery system in the flat. If you're hoping to get any mail delivered to you besides royal mail you're out of luck. This is because RFD have disabled the flat access system in the flat as homeless people would repeatedly enter the flat. When I told them about our situation of not being able to get our mail, they really couldn't care less to help. The flats they give you may look nice but are in fact poorly constructed. We've had to change all the light bulbs in the flat because they keep on going off. On top of that, RFD decides to charge us 30 quid to change 2 light bulbs when we have left. Eventhough the issue is with their flat being poorly designed, we had to face the cost of replacements. When we had decided to leave, RFD would repeatedly have people over to look at our flat without even giving us the 24 hour notice that they seem to promise. At one point when I wanted to get a reference for new accomodation elsewhere, they were asking for 25 quid. Overall, they really only want to make a buck of you, when they realise you're not gonna be staying on with them they tend become incredibly complacent. I wouldn't recommend them.

The owner of the letting agency has been always well-mannered and helpful for every requests for the flat. Every problem has been solved quickly.

I've been a tennent with them for more than 2 years now. Seen quite a few of the flats they had available at the time and all looked really good do I had a hard time choosing. Thankfully the staff here is great and helped me out. Also every time I had a problem, it was quickly and efficiently delt with. All in all a great experience so far. Keep up the good work guys.

I've rented properties from Rent Flats Dundee for the last few years and haven't had any problems with them at all. They are easy to contact and have their own maintenance staff, so any problems during the tenancy are able to be resolved quickly. In fact, when I had a minor problem last year they were here within 10 minutes! When I changed properties I had no problems getting my deposit back or anything. Also any time they needed to visit the properties for viewings etc I always got at least 24 hours notice, usually a lot more. The flats that I have rented have been of a very high standard, and also very well priced in the market. I would have no problems recommending them to my friends and family. As a student I would also encourage students to use them to find flats, you won't regret it!
