Restoration Yard Dalkeith

A great place to visit any time of year. Great place to shop for unique and interesting gifts. Haven't tried the restaurant but the cafe bistro has a great choice of everything. A hidden gem in Dalkeith.

Coffee and scones were delicious. The selection of cakes was amazing. Would certainly make it my regular coffee stop.

Limited menu, food was fresh and good quality. service punctual if lacking in friendliness. Child friendly.

As a play park this really is a magical place to take small children. There's loads to do for all ages, from 2 upwards. The only problem could be trying to persuade your child to leave.

On the other side theres a shop, cafe and restaurant area which is all fine really. The restaurant is slow and the food is fine, the coffee in the cafe is ok bit nothing exceptional and the shop has loads of fairly expensive but nice things.

I visit the coffee bar regularly for a cake and coffee. Very nice if you have a sweet tooth and also very nice coffee made by the kind man who is usually on machine. As someone who comes frequently I prefer weekends beside the fact it's very busy as I have found there is a group of younger staff that haven't always been at the restoration yard that are there on weekends that are less ignorant and are all the most pleasant team of people that are smiley and will chat away. If only tips could go towards certain people as these lovely girls would be pocketing my pennies :-)

Superb refurbishment of the stables buildings into a cafe, restaurant and retail outlet. Worth a visit.

Very busy, visited on a Saturday. Fab walks, shop etc, fort good for kids to play. Not enough seats in cafe for amount of people there, also had to wait a while for hot drinks. The hot chocolate was dark chocolate and the first time ever my son has not been able to drink it. I love dark choc but was just a bit too rich. Apart from that a nice afternoon out.

Very busy on the weekends nice range of goods on display lots of cake to choose from in coffee shop family friendly lots to do for kids

Excellent place to visit. A terrific shop. The restaurant is extremely good too with perfect service and a superb menu which is constantly changed.
