What a fantastic place to have in Inverness. We went today for my sisters 18th, the staff were all friendly and the place has a great atmosphere. The food and cocktails were fab. They kindly took her behind the bar to make up our first cocktails. The waitress brought her over a Birthday cocktail as well. Looking forward to going back and continuing to work my way through the cocktail menu��

We had a table for 10 booked last night(20th) at 7pm.

I would just like to thank the most attentive waiting staff they couldn't have done more for us all.

We had a great night, great food in a great place.

Everyone left last night singing the praises of Revolution.

Sometimes people don't get credit where credit is due, so thanks again.

I was in this evening & yesterday for lunch, lovely food great waitress & waiter!

I would highly recommend lunch or a wine & dine here anytime!

Booked Revolution for a friends birthday meal, and we weren’t disappointed. Food was brilliant, cocktails were great and the atmosphere was really good!! Thankyou for the birthday shots for the birthday girl! Was a lovely touch! I am sure we will all be back again soon �

Went there for mothers day , it wasn't that busy shown to our table , waited a while to be asked if we wanted drinks and ready to order food. Wife had white wine I asked for coke had to have a bottle as no gas for draught coke we ordered starters and both choose the curry for main. After 5 mins the girl came and said curry had run out. Wife had pizza, I had chicken . When the food arrived it was very nice had to wait a while but good food. There seems to be a lot of staff but only 3 working the others seem to do a lot of talking behind the bar shame nice place shame about the staff and the wait lot of staff training needed in customer service !!! ����

We went to sample the shots... we found them a fair price for what they are, good variety! However the spirits are highly over priced for the poor slow service we received, it was a very quiet night on Wed and we waited ages for our 3 rounds of shots. Plenty staff behind the bar floating about but not that forward at actually serving. One of our shots was the melted ice cream flavour and was so thick with shards of ice it was unpleasant to drink... however I have since been told that this is not standard for that drink... bit disappointed as we were so egar to go.... not saying we won't be back but may leave it a while and give it chance to iron out the glitches and perform at the rate the customers are paying for.

kitchen closing at 8.35 so no food as told to us by the waiter “young red head gent, glasses” we took a table for drinks, tables apparently aren’t waited though so I eventually ventured to the bar after the awkward long pause, the young guy just didn’t want to be there never smiled once, it felt unfriendly and we never stayed long, the only plus was the guy who served me at the bar, and brought our cocktails then gave me some decent info on where we could find food locally he was pleasant and nice and should probably be the person that greets and waits on the customers.

Went out for a birthday dinner which was booked in advance for 7pm. We arrived at 650 and were given our seats. The waiter said he would be right over to get us a drink order while we wanted for everyone else. 45 mins later! we were asked what we wanted by same waiter. And he asked us by saying "what do you want" very unprofessional and every order for drinks wss made to feel a burden. Food was nice but i wont be rushing back. Bar staff also too busy making cocktails to serve regular drinks when other bar was empty. Why not have a cocktail bar seperate?

Went for lunch today, food was really good for a chain but service was pretty poor.... 3 hours to have a 2 course lunch is pretty extreme, had about 4 members of staff serving us at one point aswell.... also asked for the revolution card before we even ordered (as advertised on your website and menu) and got told you don’t have them in yet which is ridiculous, don’t advertise something if you don’t have them. The chain knew they were opening before Christmas and to not have the cards in a few weeks later isn’t really great. Kinda puts me off going back tbh..... �

Was there tonight for my sisters birthday! Upstairs broken glass on the dance floor and full of Love Island wannabe’s. Such a nice bar but standards are mediocre.

Was left feeling pretty disappointed last week when my partner and I booked a table for dinner. Took a while at first to get our order. The waitress went to give our drinks to the table behind us, and then did the same with our meal. After we’d finished eating, we waited quite some time before anyone took our plates away. No one offered us a dessert menu or the bill, and I’d say we’d been ignored for around an hour after we’d eaten. This was all whilst other tables who’d come in after us had their main and desserts, and were leaving. My partner then decided to go up to the bar to pay, since no one had seen/acknowledged us for some time. Waited another 10ish minutes to pay and then left to go somewhere else to buy pudding, because we couldn’t deal with having to wait another god knows how long in there for anything else. It’s also worth saying that we had about 3 different people serve us in total. I don’t think we’ll be hurrying back any time soon...despite the food being pretty nice, the shocking service completely let you down. Surely paying attention to your customers isn’t that hard when you aren’t that busy...

Really excited to try it out as had a great experience in the Edinburgh branch. Really nice bar with lots on offer however the service was shocking. Went in just for a drink or 2. Having decided what we wanted I went to the bar where there was only one other customer waiting. There were 2 bar staff on and one was serving the customer waiting and the other was making cocktails for what must have been table service. Once the bar maid had finished serving the other customer she walked out from behind the bar and came back a few mins later and started serving again at the opposite side of the bar. At this point another member of staff had started helping behind the bar leaving 3 of them all working one side of the bar and no one working the other. 20 mins I waited to be served and every member of the bar staff had seen me standing there. There was another customer who stood next to me a few minutes after I arrived and was also kept waiting for 20 mins. I pointed out how long is been waiting when eventually served and got no response. Needless to say we left after one drink very underwhelmed and went to scotch n rye where it was busier but got served straight away and with a smile something your bar staff could do with trying.

I had visited today. Sadly I won’t recommend or be back.



Service very slow with regards to ordering drinks we asked for Coca Cola we got Coke Zero with out asking us first, due to not having the appropriate drinks we wanted.



I really think communication is needed between staff and customers



We waited 50 mins for our meal, when it did eventually came out it was cold . I really expect my meal to be hot.



I am not one for complaining but on this occasion I am as the place is not cheap and my expectations of the place at first glance was high but sadly turned sour



The manager did apologise from which I am grateful and reduced it all a little .



But doesn’t make up for going back to work on an empty belly �

Had a table booked for my birthday last night. Was told false drinks deals at the table and the bar staff were rude when trying to purchase them. “Free drinks” vouchers were honoured for some of the group but not others (including myself) and when questioned about this the waitress was aggressive and hostile. Quite frankly appalling service when paying a premium for a party.

Had a meal and cocktails took 45mins to get drinks. Food was out before getting out drinks when food arrived one of our meals were cold and the quantity was awfull for the prices they charge. Staff have no idea what they doing. Made a complaint to the manager but he was not interested in us.he did take some money off which I would expect. Would never go back .

Food was fine but service was awful.

1. Nobody acknowledged my sister or me and we went to table ourselves

2. After 10 minutes my sister had to find someone to give us a menu. We realised after ordering that we weren't given the specials menus as other customers were.

3. I hate being referred to as a guy all the time instead of 'are you ready to order ladies?' Sounds more respectful for women in their 60's. Anyway it took 15 minutes to get someone to take the order.

4. The food was good when it eventually came. Pity we had to wait for the cutlery till after the food was on the table

5. £2.65 for a half lager seems rather steep but they charged £2.50 for a orange & lemonade

6. When the bill came we had been overcharged £2 and it took some time at the bar to get somebody to serve me to pay the bill. The young girl sorted the bill but after using my card she just walked away without a thank you or letting me know it had gone thru or offering me a receipt. No goodbye



Och well saved me handing over a tip!

Went in for drinks for a birthday. There were 6 of is. We ordered 6 cocktails. Took nearly an hour to serve. Had to go and ask about them twice... there was maybe another 3 lots of customers in.

Having drank in scotch and rye and the ivy in lage groups (with no booking) and having all ordered separate cocktails the service was far too long.

Shame it coukd be a good place in Inverness, but they'll need to train the staff up a bit better to be on par with the other already well established bars.

Shocking service. Worst experienced in Inverness. The two staff actually serving behind are doing their best but there are too many "managers" walking about doing jack all knowing people are waiting to be served but it's very obvious that they think they are more important. Will be long time until return.

Lovely bar with so much potential! Came into town today specifically to visit and was really looking forward to seeing what it was like. Was pleased to see it wasn't too busy as we were just planning a couple of relaxed drinks. Was nice to be welcomed in by a girl however it was not particularly friendly. My partner walked up to the bar to order and I stayed at the table. Never have I left a review like this or been so close to walking out of somewhere! After watching several people I had seen go up to the bar while I was sitting waiting return with their drinks I asked my partner if he had been served yet which he had not. I couldn't believe he had been waiting so long!! I said we should just leave but he was determined to make his wait worthwhile and get our drinks. The floor staff walked past me several times and could clearly see how long I was sitting on my own for but no acknowledgement or awareness of the fact there was an issue. At least 20 minutes waiting to be served a drink in a quiet bar is ridiculous and to hear that he was ignored for that length of time by 3 people is a joke. I understand you are newly opened and it can take time to learn however surely as a new business your aim is to be better than your competitors, not drive your customers to them which is exactly where we went! Without a doubt the worst experience I have had and I am so disappointed because I think this is exactly the kind of place inverness needs. Please take note and work on your service! 2 people were also turned away for food despite there being lots of tables and 2 families of 4 coming in after without bookings and getting a table. I hope to hear of other people having good experiences which might encourage me to return in the future as we have loved the cocktails and food in other cities.
