The Idlers had started splaying their carriers so we gently persuaded them back into place with our special persuader...(of fire and brut strength!!).....We then beefed the front end up a smidgen on a customers tidy wee digger. I don't think they will stray out of line again!

Cutting some awkward shaped plates for a customer today, they required folding and then dividing sections welded in. Cool wee job.

It's official. RGL Engineering is now 'CE certified' to BS EN 1090-1 EXC 2 We have come through the mountain of paperwork and are now on the other side with many paper cuts . Thank you to everyone that's been involved in getting us over this hurdle.
From now on, any of our products, from Steel structure's, to grab tanks, to site safes, and even our super dooper Heavy duty hydraulic thumb's will come with the CE marking.

Cutting some shapes on the plasma dance floor!
Plasma cutting some gussets out of 30mm sheet yesterday. It just makes it look easy.

Still in the production stage (as I don't think hauling the burning torches around the garden would go down well with 'she whom must be obeyed'!!!), but fire table/pit in the making. 10mm thick so shouldn't rot away anytime soon laying out in the garden all year. Anyone interested?

Shiny!!!!! Stand just needs a coat of paint and it will be done.

That was a fun wee project, metal stand cut out on our CNC plasma profiler then welded up. The Celtic tree design in the top was also cut on the plasma then set into the oak top with a lip of the oak showing around the rim. Epoxy resin then poured in to cover the tree and sit flush on the top. (Moocho sticky hands and lots of stuff now stuck together, that shouldn't be!!!!) Though thankfully the table came out spot on.

Guess who has been in the shop today playing with the plasma cutter?!!!!!

One happy customer off in a hurry with his refurbished Heizohack chipper. New rotor shaft machined by us as the wait for an original OEM part had a 2 weeks order date. Too much of a hurry even for a photo.

Oor Willie, welding up his bucket, 'Braw'!

Heizohack chipper in today getting some work done. The shaft has sheared on the drum as it exists the bearing. May the dissection of parts commence to get it out.
