thats twice we've been here when visiting our caravan in Greenlaw. Lamb shank fantastic and salmon I had was to die for. Hubby loved steak n kidney pud even though he picks out the kidney. Sweets are fab, so far have tried carrot cake n raspberry cheesecake. Hubby loves bread n butter pudding n lemon meringue x staff are courtepus and do a great job in a very busy environment x we will be back
excellent breakfast service was great , would definitely stop again reasonably priced too
Took my mum out for tea here today, my husband had been in for coffee before and said menu looked good, I must admit when I got out car and looked at sign in window saying coffee shop I said are you sure we can get a proper meal for our tea he said come in look at menu if nothing on it you like we can always go else where, menu had loads of choice on it so mum ordered fatties mince and veg, I ordered a Spanish omelette with chips and salad and husband had steak pie, chips and veg we had 3 cans of juice and 2 coffees and it came to just over £30 very reasonable and will definitely be back just wish it was closer to our home, meals were delicious plenty choice of veg with meal which is a must for me, only thing I suggest is changing sigh to restaurant as if you think like I did that you wouldn't get a proper meal in it I would have to see other people think the same and not go in and try, seeing how busy it was speaks for itself
This cafe was absolutely smashing! 2 young girls serving were extremely pleasant and very welcoming to me and my father, food was practically perfect! It's a shame that I'm 300 miles away so my return would be unlikely but I seriously would recommend this cafe to anybody and absolutely everybody! Thank your for the service xx
Nice little stop off.
Lynda is an amazing cook. The food is amazing. Andrea provides the best service. Cannot fault Rhymers at all. Everyone who passes through Earlston should stop for something to eat and drink here.
Lovely clean place, cheerful friendly staff, delicious freshly prepared food and home-baked desserts to die for!! Very reasonably priced too.
It never fails, the service is second to none. The food every time is freshly made, hot, tasty and plenty of it! I go regularly, and the welcome is terrific each time. I'd recommend The Rhymers to anyone looking for a coffee to a full blown meal. Tons of choices too. A+++
I have always had excellent service and excellent food. The staff are always polite and happy to serve you.
I always enjoy coming here for breakfast - good food, well prepared, tasty and excellent friendly service. Great scones and cakes too if you are just looking for a mid morning pick-me-up snack

inside Rhymers Tower there is two floors and they have tables on both.
Well laid out and comfortable to sit and have a coffee or a meal
they have a complete menu to suit all tastes The food is always fresh and piping hot and a small wait is usual whilst it is prepared.
Great staff,
owners john and lynda couldn't do enough for you and your made to feel welcome and part of the family x

Been visiting for over 30 years! Always a pleasure, always cooked while you wait, and worth the wait even when really busy. Not your typical roadside fare, but you can use the takeaway menu and eat on the move. Highly recommended...

Always pop in here on a monthly basis after visiting my partners daughters grave in Melrose. We always leave feeling so sad and down but the lovely food and staff always give us our mojo back again for our journey back home to Bo’ness.
