Ricefield Arts

Ricefield Arts is at the forefront in the exploration of Chinese arts and culture in Scotland. We deliver cultural workshops, produce exhibitions, create events and provide support to artists of Chinese descent. We also source and supply craft materials.

Ricefield Arts was founded in December 2004 by two Chinese women, Lin Chau and Julia Hung, their aim to promote and advance education of Chinese arts and culture in Scotland. Within its first year of operation Ricefield received the Empowerment Award (2005) for its contribution to arts and culture and last year (2013) won the Community Champion Award for arts and culture.
