Riders Of The Storm

What an amazing experience! We took our 3 daughters to watch the halloween show and meet the team, who were so friendly and welcoming! The moves these girls can do on horseback is just astounding!

Travelled up with a friend on the 8th of feb for the ultimate stunt day not really knowing what to expect, and what we got was fantastic trick riding vaulting and jousting we both had a fabulous day can't recommend enough to anyone thinking of trying but not sure all I can say is DO IT you will not be disappointed, Kirsty is very patient and friendly also her little helpers are friendly also and help put your mind at ease, super lunch spread by a couple of brilliant cooks also! Will be back in the warmer weather

Thanks Kirsty for Katie's trick riding camp today... She has had a fab day and after a rest on the way home is now practicing some of the stretches and moves again.. Think she will sleep well and be stiff tomorrow. She really appreciates the hard work and commitment that goes into everything you do. Thank you xx

Really informative and very positive experience with kirsty and her mum! I did the confidence course with a friend as I'm new to riding. Gave me plenty to think about and try!

Really admire the work ethic and approach to all your horses which is at the heart of everything you do. My first lesson today on Shamus and I loved it despite the rain! Looking forward to my next lesson! Lots to work on but I'm inspired �

My daughter went for first time to the vaulting experience day, Kirsty was brilliant with her, patient, kind and made her confident to try her best at everything. Louise was great showing her the moves and helping her with them all too. Fantastic Sunny, can see how well trained and great nature the horses have. We all loved our time there.

My daughter tried trick riding today for her birthday and loved every second of it. Excellent. Kirsty was very encouraging and is now Jennifer's hero....Jen can't wait to come back and try vaulting:-D Birthday memory she will cheeish

Kirsty is inspiring and so understanding. Could listen to her all day. Thoroughly recommend the confidence course. An opportunity to try new things and look at things in a different way. Just wish you were closer. Thank you so much and hope to be back.

I was given a voucher for a trick riding experience for Christmas. I had such a brilliant time. Kirsty and Beth taught me so much, more than I even thought I'd manage. Zorro was such a great horse to learn on, I felt so safe on him and he was really sweet. I can't wait to go back!

I don't really know where to start. I haven't ridden in 7 years and before that on and off since I was 21. I am 42, mum of 1, just finished a confidence course with Kirsty and her team. It was emotional but so amazing. You don't just get to ride her amazing horses and learn from her and her mum and everyone else on the course..... you do things you never thought you could do. And there is no pressure, everything is really calm and encouraging.

Had the most amazing time yesterday with Kirsty. I had been lucky enough to be given a trick riding experience for my last birthday and wow what an experience!! Kirsty is extremely knowledgable and has the most amazing connection with her horses! I got to ride the fabulous Zorro, who was unbelievably well behaved and patient! For only being 7 years old he was fantastic and was in the most beautiful condition! The trick riding experience lasted for a full 2 hours and was on a one to one basis. I did some amazing things and Kirsty was very patient with me. I thought I was relatively fit before attempting the trick riding but my muscles are telling me otherwise today!! Thank you so much Kirsty and Zorro, I will be back!!

Had such a great time this weekend. Kirsty has a wonderful way of really looking into your issues and finding the problems whether horse or rider issues. She has a great team behind her & the horses are 5* ..... she really has a way with them. Would definitely recommended this course.... my problems were picked up almost straight away. Had a truly great weekend at riders of the storm! Lots of great help and information, very friendly and relaxed atmosphere, ( fab lunch!! Thankyou! ) had the best time having a try of some basic vaulting moves, most definitely want to return, think a vaulting day experience will be on the cards, thankyou kirsty!! And the rest of the team !!

Had a fantastic morning learning vaulting today. Fantastic instruction from Kirsty and her horse was fantastic. Can't recommended enough. Thank you for a wonderful morning :)

Fantastic weekend ! I attended the 4 day confidence course and loved every minute. Would encourage anyone considering attending - go for it! Kirsty's approach to supporting each individual person with her knowledge, patience and good fun attitude was great. Content on course was varied and Kirsty will do her best to focus on each person's concerns / goals. Everyone left feeling we had achieved so much and focused on how to continue once home. Thanks to Amanda for all her cooking - all lovely meals, and also to other girls who helped out at times. Fab team. Accomodation excellent! Definitely 5* all round . Thank you all x

Great to see my usually shy boy confident and smiling performing tricks on the back of a horse. Delicious lunch too. Worth every penny. Loved every minute and can't wait for our next visit.

Brilliant morning on the confidence course. Kirsty has the patience of a saint. I would highly recommend the course and Kirsty and her team. I have the knowledge to move forward with my riding. Very grateful Kirsty thank you x

After suffering a couple of nasty falls (breaking my leg, ankle and my hand), to say I had lost my confidence was an massive understatement.



I did consider not riding ever again, but my love for horses was stronger than my rational mind. But did I want to go on a confidence course at a trick riding school?????



I am SO glad that I did, Kirsty and her horses were amazing. From the initial second I arrived at her facilities in the stunning Perthshire hills, I felt completely at ease. She has this amazing natural ability to make everything seem ok. Despite my heart rate !



My confidence grew over the 4 day course, hacking, jousting, lunging, long reining and handling her amazing horses. The finale was a solo hack on the last day, something I have never managed to achieve before and something I didn't even dream would happen 4 days previously.



Kirsty, her Mum and her team were superb, I felt valued, welcomed and above all I had total trust in them. Which on a confidence course is top priority.



So did it do me any good?



Just before attending the course I bought a 5 year old Highland Pony called Angus and when I got back from the course I set about practising everything I had learned. I started long reining my pony in the school, in the fields and then down country roads. I began riding alone too, in the school to start with. Together we grew in confidence. I kept hearing Kirsty's words in my head which kept me calm and together we are growing in confidence. I am now able to hack out in open fields and finally feel an immense sense of achievement with my wonderful pony.
