About Right Way Credit Union
Right Way Credit Union is a financial co-operative that is owned and operated by its members.

Right Way Credit Union Description
Credit unions are co-operative savings and loans businesses, owned and controlled by the people who save and borrow with them, and are run on a 'not for profit' basis for the benefit of all members. They are managed by a volunteer board of directors who are democratically elected by the membership at AGM, and volunteers and /or staff run the day to day business of the credit union. Members must share a 'common bond'. The common bond of Right Way Credit Union is: 'living or working in the West of Scotland'. Postcodes include PA, G, ML and KA - the common bond is what makes credit unions unique.
We offer savings and great value loans plus we are local, ethical and know what our members want. As a credit union we have lower operating costs and overheads than commercial banks and building societies, profits are returned directly to the members and not third party shareholders and therefore remain in the community, and we provide a friendly and local service.

Yesterday we visited Rothesay to celebrate Bute & Cowal Credit Union Ltd 25th Anniversary.
It was lovely to hear about their journey over the last 25 years and we toasted to the next 25!

It's volunteer week!
Volunteers are the lifeline of the credit union. It is managed by volunteers both strategically and on a day to day basis. Without volunteers it simply would not exist. Every volunteer plays an important part in the credit union and its development, from cashiers through to the Chairperson.
