🐟Its crucial to teach our children about the health of the environment & all they ways they can make a difference.
💦We think it's as important to have positive outdoor learning experiences that can contribute to good mental health - soggy socks and wellies full of water included!
🌞 As it's #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek lets take a moment to look at the faces and body language of the children in these photos. If only you could hear the squeals, gasps and giggles 🤩!

A week packed with splashes, squeals, soggy socks💦🧦, smiles😁 & sunshine🌞. We have taken 4 schools to the river, where the children learned how to take kick samples and ID invertebrates.
Huge thanks to our volunteers for helping out.

💧Eels in the Classroom 2019: Week 2💧 Abi has had a busy week delivering Water Cycle and Habitat sessions in all 4 schools. 🌱We learned about why we need to understand the water cycle and how it links in with river and freshwater habitats. 🌱The children did a great job of understanding the value of the riparian zone and why its SO important to have a buffer between livestock and the river banks.
... ⭐️We are all very excited as the elvers arrive on Monday!!!!⭐️
