The River Energy Systems Hydros in-river hydro system is a hydrokinetic device that converts, via a Helical Turbine, the flow of water into electrical power.
This innovative renewable energy system is being designed and built in Fife and aims to efficiently take power from running water.
The Hydros system is scalable and capable of producing from 1kW to megawatts of power per system utilising flowing water from a depth of 300mm and upwards.
Farmers, councils, land owners, homeowners, industrials or indeed anyone with flowing water can make use of the Hydros systems and produce clean, economically viable, environmentally friendly power.
