Riverside Caravan Park

Nice peaceful wee caravan park just before you exit Elgin. Has some static caravans but mainly tourers. Pleasant owner, reasonably priced, not much on site apart from reception, shower blocks, launderette and toilets. Good access to Elgin town center and plenty of places outside of Elgin to explore.

We love this site that much we bought a static caravan. The owner is doing a wonderful job running the site on her own since her husband passed away . Friendly family site.

Lovely park another place I would visit again, village is cute too

Same experience as Sebastian (see below). We went there dripping wet from cycling in the rain all day. Website says they accept tents for 6 pounds/person. We were reading the sign outside that said they do not in fact accept tents when the owner came out. She was truly the rudest person I've met in Scotland during my month here. I was in disbelief by how rude and nasty she was for no reason at all. Thanks for nothing.

The woman that runs the place puts me off even phoning to book she told us to leave because we were using to much water , and stole our pipe , and turned our electric off so all our food was spoiled , she is a vile old woman , don't bother it's like a prison

Quiet and small site, but good access to the town (Elgin). Lovely riverside with grassy banks, good facilities. Occasional hum of passing train or traffic, but quiet at night.

Such an old unfriendly and nasty owner. I come from Germany so i know what unfriendliness is. But this woman topped it.
I am travelling through Scotland since 5 weeks now and she is the first unfriendly person i met.
On the homepage they say they do have spaces for tents but when i got here i was immeadiatly sent away with a harsh "we don't take tents". When i asked for an alternative place where i can stay there was not even a reply, she behaved like a little angry toddler you just took toy away.
I just do not recommend this place when you are looking for a place to feel well and welcomed.
