Phantoms Cruise from Blackford 20th July. Rock N Roll Motors are very pleased to have been asked to host the cruise out from Blackford this year. We did this in 2017 and it was a success despite the dodgy weather, although the rain did go off as the cars arrived and came on again as they left lol. We have already booked some live music this year with the fantastic "Uncle Red" and we will be sorting out some food and drinks. Please keep an eye out here for updates with times e...tc. Due to limited space this year we can only host the cruise cars and also any cars which are not on the cruise but who will be attending the Blackford show on the Sunday only. Once we have numbers, we may be able to open up spaces for other Americans/kustoms/hot rods/trucks/bikes. Watch this space. Some pics of the 2017 event plus Uncle Red performing at Buzzness in 2018

NOTE: PLEASE PM FOR ANY PRICES RATHER THAN ASK ON A PICTURE AS THE CONTACT IS THEN LOST WHEN I UPDATE AGAIN. CONVERSATIONS BY PM STAY THERE TO BE REFERRED BACK TO ANY TIME. CHEERS. Genuinely interested parties, please also start a conversation via messages rather than on this post for the same reasons. Here's the list of trucks and cars which are either in stock, on the way over, sitting in the States or otherwise available to us. All of our vehicles will come with UK regist...ration and V5C. We wont sell you something and leave you to deal with DVLA unlike so many other sellers, unless for any reason you want to be first UK owner on the V5C, but you need to be quick as we start the registration process as soon as the NOVA paperwork arrives. We have recently noticed that the registration process is taking longer and longer, so, if you're buying an "as landed" vehicle to do all the work yourself, you can have it at your place quicker if you do the registration yourself. We will of course do all the paperwork for you and help with any questions. (Please note that help with registration only applies to customers buying a vehicle from us. We cannot help with one you have bought elsewhere.) Prices depend on a lot of things and we may be carrying out work or intending to carry out work therefore price can change. Also, for vehicles on the way over, the exchange rate can alter the end price as shipping may not have been paid and the UK landing fees, duty, VAT, etc are still to be calculated. For these reasons, not all the vehicles are priced in the list. All prices quoted are subject to change for the various reasons outlined above. Serious buyers, please PM for prices and further information. Call or text Jim on 07593187939. Text without a sender's name will be ignored. Or e-mail to horn.chevy@blueyonder.co.uk Please note that I don't live with the phone attached to my ear so may not hear it or not be able to answer if I am in the middle of something in the workshop, or have a customer already with me, or if I'm driving. If you can't get an answer, either leave a text or voicemail telling me what you are interested in and I'll get back to you. If you don't leave a message or text I wont simply phone back to a missed call as I get loads of calls from people for a chat or for something which I don't do including the supply of spares. These use a lot of my time and I can't be working on trucks whilst on the phone. Thanks for understanding :)

1966 Ford Thunderbird. 428 cu in V8, auto trans, runs, drives and stops as it should. Paint has some blemishes so not perfect but a good usable car with no rust. My mate has just secured this for me 10 mins ago, so no price yet until I see the exchange rate when I actually pay for it.

1957 Ford Ranchero. Y-Block V8, auto transmission, runs and drives well, brakes work, all lights etc work, new floor pans properly seam welded in, nice interior. My mate in California has locked this one in for me now and the landed price will be circa £12500 with vat paid and UK registered. It will ship out in April.

User

Just purchased in California is this 1956 Ford Courier. It has a straight six engine with Offenhauser dress up items, etc, an auto transmission and it runs, drives and stops fine. I'm told all the tyres are good too. It will have the home made headcloth glued back up and will have a new carpet fitted in the front. It has a pair of black leather Ford Thunderbird seats. Hopefully this one wont need too much spent on it to make it roadworthy. MORE DETAILS AND PRICE AFTER IT ARRIVES HERE. 🤣😂

Galvanised steel, very well made, some of the glass has cracks. £600. 2/ came of a long wheelbase '78 F150 Styleside, so, though made for the Ford, it should fit other long bed wide body pickups too. Continuing with the yard clearout prior to losing a major amount of the space we occupy the following are also available, some for spares only, some for spares or repair. 1/ 1996 Mazda Bongo. This belongs to my cousin and was in daily use up to a year or so ago when it was replaced by a car. It was always reliable, runs and drives really well and needs very little for an MOT. From memory 2 tyres, a drop link and maybe a shocker bush. Rear arches are the worst bit and they def...o need tidying up. 2.5 litre 4 cylinder turbo diesel, auto gearbox, 2 wheel drive, 7 seats. £750. Bongo SOLD pics deleted. 2/ 2003 Transit long wheelbase medium roof. This was my own daily until it switched itself on the way home one night. According to the Solas it's the fuel cut off solenoid, which appears to be hard wired to the pump. It's an old van due for replacement anyway, still MOTd for a few months and only had the sill under the sliding door welded in the past. Spares or repair, will still have plenty life in it if you fix the pump. All good tyres. £950 3/ 2001 Transit for spares. Engine u/s and it's rusty so no use to go back on the road lol. Has a lot of good bits still on it, doors, bonnet, etc, towbar, and is also fitted with a PTO, underfloor compressor and generator and has partial racking inside. Good gearbox and the clutch was replaced not long before engine expired. Dual mass flywheel was replaced with a solid flywheel. It's heavy due to the compressor and generator etc and I'd get about £400 to weigh it in right now so £500 to sell as-is.

Loading in California today, so wont see them for a couple of months......... 1/ 1959 GMC swb stepside, 6cyl manual with big back window. 2/ 1960 Chevy Apache longbed fleetside, 6 cyl manual 3/ 1972 Triumph TR6, freshly painted with no rust on the body, paint was just scruffy. 4/ 1957 Hydro Swift speedboat with Johnson Meteor outboard.... Please read the following info.
Can't price them just yet, need to see what I end up paying for shipping and even then can only give an "as landed" price as I can't guess what work needs done and what costs will be if I put them right.

We are losing a fair chunk of our yard in the very near future, so it's time for a clear out. No cut price bargains on the American stuff lol, we're getting shot of all the other stuff lying about. So, here's a few more..... 3/ 2000 W reg Transit smiley minibus. We were going to use this but it's been sitting a few years and it's getting rusty. Can't be bothered welding it, sills, inner sill, steps, front inner wings near strut mounts, left front wheelarch. It does have an ex...cellent "banana" engine and gearbox and very good interior. It runs, drives and stops very well and all tyres are decent. It has a towbar. £800 or we'll break it and use the running gear in a pickup. 4/ 1986 Transit Mk3 recovery wagon. Cab is very rusty and chassis has rust near cab rear mount areas. I wouldn't bother trying to fix it. It does however have a really good Isuzu 2.8 turbo diesel engine mated to the Transit box with a brand new clutch kit with zero miles on it. Brand new headlights too. A good solid beavertail body with slide out ramps, swing away lights, and a good winch which does need new remote controls. £1000 or I'll break it up and use the running gear and body. It's worth it for the body alone. 5/ 2001 Ford Escort 55 van, 1.8 diesel. We used it as a yard van with a generator in the back but no longer required (generator not available). Rusty rear wheelarch, rusty cross member where shockers mount, cracked windscreen. Good doors etc, runs very well, however it sometimes starts and just cuts out again, and is getting worse, something to do with the fuel cutoff. £400. Jim on 07593 187939, or horn.chevy@blueyonder.co.uk or PM me.

We are losing a fair chunk of our yard in the very near future, so it's time for a clear out. No cut price bargains on the American stuff lol, we're getting shot of all the other stuff lying about. 1/ 1999 Jaguar XK8. I caused a problem by not noticing the jump start pack was switched to 24 volts and damaged the ECUs. They have since been replaced, it runs and drives fine but dash is still all lit up. No time or inclination to sort it. It owes me £5K and was worth 7500 when I... bought it several years ago. Body is nice apart from left rear corner. Interior is immaculate. I think it's done 90K miles. £2000. I will break it if I have to to recover some of my money but would rather see it go to somebody who will put it back on the road. XK8 SOLD, pics deleted 2/ 2002 Mercedes C230K, 2.3 litre supercharged coupe with panoramic sunroof. Paint is poor, we haven't use the car for a year or more, tyres decent, brakes were newish. For MOT it needs the headlight sam, a front spring, a battery and a couple of suspension joints. Runs very well, would make a good fun track car. £600
That's all for now, see pics and I can get more of each vehicle if required. Offering out to our followers before putting each on marketplace or ebay. No timewasters, they are what they are, you either want them or you don't, pretty simple really. Jim on 07593 187939 or e-mail to horn.chevy@blueyonder.co.uk or PM me.

'57 Chevy V8 swb stepside. Please don't ask for a price yet as the truck isn't ready, so I don't know what the total expenditure is as yet. This isn't a proper ad, just some pics to show what will be available soon. It has a 350 cu in V8 and 4 speed floor shift gearbox and has had a brake overhaul, bearings etc checked over, new tyres, will have all lights etc sorted blah blah. I'll put a proper ad up with all details as soon as it is ready. (Y) Meanwhile here are the pics taken inside the 'shop and showing the bad bits and a panel by panel walk around.

What's been going on the last week or so? Jamie and Amanda's new purchase, 48 Ford arrived and been in for some work to make it run and stop properly, I've been doing mechanical work on the '57 Chevy truck (soon to be ready for sale), Graham has been cleaning off some of the surface rust on the same truck to bring back some of the patina'd paint underneath, Davie Johnston from Alloa brought the Chevy 3100 he bought from us, over to let me see the now running and driving BMW d...iesel powered truck, Scott's '58 GMC panel van had a trial fit of the body onto the lowered chassis, Pete Neil's '57 Fairlane was taken to Falkirk Car Carriers and is finally on its way south, the '57 Chevy 210 project is on its way to Fenland Choppers for rebuild, and now I have big Stu's '90 Dodge Ram (cummins diesel) on the ramp for some brake work whilst he is sunning himself in Thailand.

FOR SALE. £12500. 1956 Chevy swb stepside. Recent import and has undergone a lot of work to make it roadworthy, and is UK registered, V5 in my name and number plates fitted. This is an excellent, solid example of a standard spec, ready to use '50s Chevy. This truck arrived from California a few weeks ago as a non runner, having been parked up since 1993 and we knew very little about it other than it is a California "black plate" truck. On arrival, we had a quick look round a...

'57 Chevy 3100. Work is progressing nicely on this one and should be mechanically sorted soon and awaiting the attention of bro Ali, our electrical guru, and then in due course a V5 from the powers that be! I thought the truck was in primer but a quick rub with t-cut removed the oxidisation and a lot of the surface rust to reveal it was a gloss grey colour at one time. I'll continue to "restore the patina" (lol) in due course, but the driver side front wing wont come up as th...at is definitely in grey primer. That horribly botched engine mounting has now been changed for a proper tube bracket with side mounts, the right front spring has been changed, it now has top and bottom shocker mounts and we changed the front axle for a reconditioned one. It'll be having new brake cylinders and hoses all round, most copper pipes and handbrake cables too. Graham has also cleaned and painted the floor. It has some rust in the step areas and the right lower cowl area, but it wont fall apart so will do for now....... further updates soon (hopefully).

Awaiting their turn to leave the yard.... the '57 Fairlane was my mate Pete Neil's car and will be heading to Guildford soon, the COE will, as previously mentioned be going to Essex once it is registered and the '53 Chevy 3100 is going to Kirkcaldy soon. We sold it months ago, but were doing work on it for the new owner, who was in no rush to have it at this time of year, but will be taking it away soon.

User

Scott's '58 GMC panel van is making progress. Mustang 2 front and 4 link rear installed by Graham Dickie, and now that the new engine and trans are here, we've mocked up and the mounts have now been made.

User

The '48 Chevy COE will be leaving us for Essex in another of those rare times where a buyer catches onto it before it leaves California and stays with it all the way across, then buys it on arrival. Many thanks Steve Turner. We will be holding it here until it gains its UK registration in due course.

User

The '59 GMC left us a couple of weeks ago in one of those rare occasions when a chap has followed it all the way over and had his name on it from day one.... and followed through and bought it. We did a bit of work to make it roadworthy, and Phil Mead came to collect it on a trailer, and hauled it all the way back to Essex. It was reputedly painted by hot rod haul of fame artist Art Himsl back about 1975 or thereabouts. The paint is showing its age now, but still kool.
