Went for dinner last night. Outstanding food and brilliant service. Mark made us feel welcome from the minute we walked in. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again soon. :D

The Rocpool is my favourite place to be.....it never disappoints! Beautiful surroundings, excellent food and topped off with great company.

Starters today was probably the best I’ve eaten ever. Anywhere. Squid ink risotto with prawns and squid - utterly delicious. Could have eaten it for mains and sweet. Every day. Classic seafood linguine mains was generous, laden with scallops, clams, prawns, etc (went a bit OTT with marine life today). Gorgeous. Companions’ foods all equally good. Couldn’t fault anything we all ate which included venison, rack of lamb, scallops, crab, calve’s liver, puds etc. But ... Martini � not cold enough, big enough or dry enough. Teach the bar staff how to do this properly! Wine superb though and recovered the drinks moan! Happily eat there every day. Top notch.

Nowhere beats this place....first class delicious food, friendly staff & fantastic location by the river looking across to the castle. Best restaurant in Inverness.

My partner and I had the most amazing lunch at Rocpool today, for mains we both had the loin of Speyside venison and for dessert I had the triple chocolate praline tart with honeycomb ice cream and my partner had the white chocolate & coconut cheesecake with roasted banana & butterscotch. The food was very well presented, staff was attentive but not over bearing, ambiance was perfect, busy restaurant but didn’t feel over crowded. The cherry on the top was we were given our jackets without being asked which were ours (loved that wee detail !!!). Worth every penny, we will be back.

Me and my husband went on Saturday night for our anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint. Wonderful atmosphere, all staff extremely welcoming with excellence service and the food was amazing. We will certainly be returning.
