Attica Rage:
Working on this album project together, Roddy contributed a myriad of both creative and artistic ideas as well as his thorough technical skills in audio engineering and sound production. He is a perfectionist by design and lives by his motto of attention-to-detail. We are extremely proud of the final product of our collaboration with roddymacaudio on Road Dog.
My personal and professional motto is 'Attention To Detail' and, as anyone who has worked with me will attest - my 'attention' to the 'detail' truly does verge on OCD.
That can make me a total pain in the ass but hey who would you rather have working on your precious music? - a lazy, pothead retard who doesn't give a shit and has no more of a grasp of the discipline and focus needed to really make a recording special than an amoeba has of space travel? Yeah but hey maaaan, it's suuuch a laugh. . .

Or me - someone that can't sleep at night cos that snare drum is just not right - and yes, i will get up in the middle of the night to work on it?. . .

The only person that's made my voice sounds like me.
The band I'm in, Vain Galen, spent three days recording 5 tracks with Roddy. It couldn't have gone any better. A great guy with boundless enthusiasm for creating the best possible permanent record of your songs. His ideas and guidance are invaluable, as is his, almost anal, attention to detail! On the end product, drums, bass and guitars sound like you are standing in the room with them. Roddy also manages to get better out of you, even if you think you've bested it already! Would I go back and record with Roddy again? In a heartbeat!!!!
Roddy is an extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful chap. We have used him and his studio for rehearsals and recording.
And highly recommend Roddy for his engineering skills and Titan West for great sounding rehearsal rooms.
I can't rate Roddy highly enough. The sound you get, whether rehearsing or recording, is excellent! He is extremely patient, has a fantastic ear and the knowledge and know-how to get the best from you. His attention to detail is second to none. We've recorded in a few studios, however, I can honestly say this is the first time I've felt that the end product sounded how we truly wanted it. This guy is passionate about making great music.
I booked Steve Grozier and his band (The Wildcats) in for a day to record a song with Roddy in September 2018. This feedback is from Steve Grozier and his band: Roddy is a consummate professional and a lovely guy to boot. The band and I set-up on the Friday evening, and Roddy made us feel welcome from the word go. The studio is a cracking place. The live room sounds great. Roddy is very, very thorough and you can tell that he has a wealth of knowledge across all aspects of recording; from set-up, room sound, microphone selection/position, etc etc. The atmosphere in the studio is exactly what I was looking for. Roddy is a very good engineer, but he can and will advise on aspects of production too. I highly recommend Roddy and his studio and we'll definitely be back.
Been rehearsing and recording here for over 6 months.
Roddy is a pleasure to work with, great work ethic, amazing ear and knowledge of sound production is amazing. Great vibes, relaxed and a lovely space to rehearse and record. Great PA which makes a huge difference when rehearsing.
Highly reccomend using this amazing man and facility.
