Two stage paint correction with ceramic coatings application to my brothers 20 something years old Kawasaki ZRX 1100 in stunning candy wine red.

Gonna transform this bad boy for my brother today.
Deep clean wash, decontamination and tar removal. Renovate the original seat as best I can, 2 stage polish of body work. Exhaust polish and seal. Seal and coat wheels. Ceramic coat for paint work. Seal the engine block and components.
Also clean and coat his helmet for better visibility in the rain and hence better safety.

Today I completed a two stage paint correction detail of a 2015 metallic black Jaguar XF. This included removal of a full length medium/light scratch in the clear coat along the passenger side the car.
The entire process took 2 days from start to finish.
The initial cutting stage of removing the heavy swirl marks and random deep scratches on the paintwork took over 11 hours of machine polishing with all panels requiring 2-5 passes with the machine polisher each. The most hea...vily marked panels are where the scratch and vac £5 wash guys put their body weight behind the sponge, scratch maker as I call it. These areas are predictably the bonnet, roof and boot lid. These 3 areas alone took six hours of correction between them…
Refining stage was simplicity in comparison.
The Jaguar came out beautifully with almost total correction with only a few faint remnants of the heavier defects remaining after both stages.
The car was sealed firstly with an advanced polymer sealant then topped in Britemax Vantage wax.

Currently completing a two stage paint correction and full length light scratch removal on a Jaguar XF in metallic black. Pics show top of boot lid before and after the first stage of correction.
This took 3 passes with a combo of CarPro Clearcut and Flexipads Medium cut orange pads.
It has taken me 5 hours to correct 3/4 of the car so far.
... Finish the cut and complete the second refining stage to add extra gloss tomorrow.

Over 2000 miles to Bordeaux and back for my brothers wedding.
Pre-wash soak with citrus based APC to remove insects and bloody wood pigeon poop! Quick detail of the wheels and calipers with detailing brushes and professional wheel brushes to get the brake dust off. Snow foam and jet wash rinse. Didn't even need washing with a mitt. Dried off with pro microfibre drying towels. Exhaust polish. Quick buff. Done in under an hour. ...

Maintenance wash for my Dad's Shadow Black Ford Kuga.
Done nearly 3000 miles to Bordeaux and around France and back. It was a right clip, covered in bird poop, dust and exploded insects. He's also picked up some overspray from god knows where. Oh and I took his roof box and roof bars off for him.

Yesterday I completed the first stage of Project Low & Slow.
The aim was to bring my very neglected, abused, scratch and swirl covered work horse of a car back to life and to give her the TLC she's earned.
... After experimenting the day before on the bonnet to see what levels of correction I could realistically achieve I settled on my pad and compound combination and set to work on the rest of the car. To achieve this took multiple passes per panel and took me an entire day.
Still work to do, some trim to replace from when I used her as a snow plow 🤪, wheels to seal and coat. I need to complete a gloss enhancing refinement stage, seal the car and finish her in either wax or a ceramic coat.
She's 11 years old so that'll probably do her...üòé

Back at the studio today üòÅ
Low & Slow required some TLC. She’s been neglected for the last few months. She has previously had a full decontamination detail back in November and that’s the best she’s had poor girl. Today she received a Clean & Seal mini detail and interior detail.
I thought it may be interesting for you guys to see a comparison of before and after a paint correction.
... Feeling curious myself to see how she would come up I split her bonnet in two with masking tape and performed a two stage heavy cut then polish on the near side half of the bonnet and finished with my go-to wax, Britemax Vantage.
She’s a very heavily marked vehicle, we have to be realistic and bear in mind that not all defects are correctable.
The difference is night and day.
The first three photos are of the uncorrected off side of the bonnet and the last 4 are of the corrected near side.

Wish I could give 10 ÔøΩ.

What an amazing job Dave did on my car. It had over two years of untouched road grime and detritus from three grandchildren and when he had finished it literally did look as good as new. He got into every nook and cranny and restored it to a pristine condition. I really couldn't believe that he got it so clean and shinny. I definitely won't be leaving it so long; I want it to stay as beautiful as it is now.

Recently got the winter protection detail from Davey for myself and the wife’s car. The car, in fact both of them just look incredible, they are like new. Honestly couldn’t recommend you enough. In fact I have referred you already.

My car was in need of a good thorough clean as it hadn't been done since Nov due to weather. Davey carried out the winter protection detail on my golf today and i have to say he done a awesome job !!!!!,only problem now is the wife wants hers done now haha. highly recommended for professionalism and attention to detail!!!!!!

What an amazing job Dave did on my car. It had over two years of untouched road grime and detritus from three grandchildren and when he had finished it literally did look as good as new. He got into every nook and cranny and restored it to a pristine condition. I really couldn't believe that he got it so clean and shinny. I definitely won't be leaving it so long; I want it to stay as beautiful as it is now.

Recently got the winter protection detail from Davey for myself and the wife’s car. The car, in fact both of them just look incredible, they are like new. Honestly couldn’t recommend you enough. In fact I have referred you already.

My car was in need of a good thorough clean as it hadn't been done since Nov due to weather. I took my beetle to David the owner of Rolling Shine Auto Detail just to have the roof professionally cleaned. Decided I would get a wash and wax done professionally as well and I can only say I am massively impressed! Bearing in mind the beetle was restored 18 years ago, I can't believe how well it now looks. Highly recommended passionate and knowledgeable about cleaning and paintwork, got some good advice for future bodywork.

I had my vehicle in with Davey at Rolling Shine this week. I have to say it’s 100% money well spent to bring the paintwork back to a swirl free mirror finish all over.

He’s a great guy and talks you through every process to help you understand how to look after your vehicles paintwork .
