Wow what a Pizza restaurant! Was lucky enough to try this amazing new addition to Merchant City last week and it is certainly on to a winner. From the moment you walk in you are immersed into Ancient Rome with unbelievable artwork throughout the property surrounding the central open kitchen and Roman's branded Pizza Oven. Once seated with one their fine selection of luxury wines, bottled or tap lagers the menu is simplistic but slightly quirky with my favourite being smashed beefburger pizza, but also amazing vegetarian options and even a resident gluten free option! All in all this is certainly a place that you should try, and once you do you'll find all roads lead to Romans! 5 Stars!

Went in for lunch on Monday. Pizza was gorgeous (the number nine), chips were lovely and crispy and the beer selection was good. Nice and cool inside and love the booths.

Was there on 29th June went in on a whim with my friend loved it the pizza where beautiful staff where lovely the place looked amazing would diffently go back and recommend it

Pizza was delicious. Chips were absolutely class, every one was a wee crispy badboy, like the ones you specifically take first in a portion of chips, except they were all like that. To top it off had full sugar OG Irn Bru. Can’t wait to come back and batter into the desserts, couldn’t hack it this time cos I was so full ma burd had to roll me out the restaurant. Cheers.

Proper authentic, Italian-tasting pizza �

It'd have been all too easy to walk past Romans as the frontage didn't really leap out at us. I'm so glad we noticed it though as I discovered they make the best pizza I've ever had. I'm lucky enough to have had pizza all over Italy and Romans pizzas are the equal to any out there. Pizza is such a simple thing but so often they're utterly mediocre and tasteless. Not Romans though, every bite was filled with flavour and the ingredients were top notch. The drink selection was also pretty extensive. I can't wait to go back and try more from their menu.



The interior of Roman's is nicely done and well laid out with an open kitchen and a large brick pizza oven. The staff were very attentive and enthusiastic. Sadly, it was very quiet for a Saturday night in Glasgow. I'm really, really hoping more people hear about Romans and business takes off because they absolutely deserve to be a huge success.

I was new to the city when Romans Pizzeria promoted their place near Glasgow Vegan Festival last weekend. My expectations were not high as I had never had a freshly made vegan pizza with actual vegan cheese and meat on it. Well, the only expectations that will ever be low again are the expectations for vegan pizzas at other places because this one is certainly a banger. The dough is perfect, the vegan mozzarella is creamy, the smoky vegan chicken gives it a hearty note, the vegetables are fresh and the gherkins surprisingly round it all of amazingly. Go grab your vegan/vegetarian friends and drag them to this place! (And also the staff is great and super caring! Another bonus on top!)

Honestly one of the best pizzas I’ve had, got the pizza with the pulled pork and it was out of this world! The decor is cool and the staff were lovely and attentive. Can’t wait to get back in and try some of the other pizzas!

Great selection of pizza with a unique twist to the classics , drink selection was overwhelming from beer , spirits and wine .. oh yeah the do soft drinks too :-)



Took my 8 yr old fussy eating daughter along who said it “ was the best selection of pizza she had ever tasted” lol

Great pizza, good choice! We had the pizza with burger & mac, and another with the egg on it but there were way least another 4 or 5 on the menu I wanted to try so will be back to do so. So tasty! We didn’t opt for a side as there wasn’t much option for it, though we might’ve otherwise, but it didn’t really matter as the main attraction is the pizza.



It was quieter than expected when we were in, we hope it picks up as it’s definitely a great new addition to the pizza scene in town. Rooting for Romans.

First time in yesterday and loved it! Pizza was amazing with a slight crunch to the thin base! Mashed burger with mac&cheese was amazing flavour defo my new favourite pizzas which with hard to pick from the other Italian pizza joint in town! Defo be back!

By far THE best vegan pizza I’ve ever had. I got vegan cheese and vegan smoked chicken toppings and it was absolutely divine!

Went for the first time yesterday and I give 6/10 for the pizza. The dough was simply amazing but the toppings I have no idea because it was spicy as hell and I could not feel any flavour except for the strong black pepper. I think would be better to ask if the customer wants pepper or not instead of putting in all of the pizzas.



About the sweet/dessert pizzas I have no words to describe how amazing it is. For sure the best ones I have tried in my life. For sure going again next week for these ones.



PS: The architecture of the place is so beautiful and the girls working there very kind and helpful.

Vegan. Satisfied. :D which is unusual :P Chip portion is a wee tad on the small side for £2.50....Although pizza and desserts win everything.



Staff from waiting to chefs where all very happy to help and great with children.

Tried this out for the first time tonight. Definitely rivalling with Paesano. The food came quickly, very delicious and to top it off, the staff are very welcoming. Well worth a visit!

The only down side is the lack of colour on your sign, menu, furniture. So glad of the nice wall as it would feel like you're dining in a prison hall otherwise. Recommend the food though and that's the main reason people would visit
