Our friend Ed popped into the shop back in March to test ride a LOOK at the demo day we had organised. Having ridden the Huez RS that day he left knowing he had to have one. Ed commented : "Sharing the ride characteristics of my C60 and the comfort of my Trek Domane, I feel it almost offers up the best attributes of both of these bikes rolled into one. A few weeks back now, our customer Neil left the shop with this stunning Ridley Bikes Helium SLX having taken advantage of their pureline custom paint shop - resulting in a rather nice finish and build. - He popped past earlier in the week to let us know how pleased he was with the finished build and as importantly how great the ride was. - Complemented by Campagnolo Record EPS and Bora One tubs this project is one were pretty proud of...

At Ronde today we have a few cracking builds rolling out the door - First up we have the Genesis Bikes Fugio... Nice build, perfect fit and all set for the gravel paths and single track roads that Scotland has to throw Martins way....

With a rise in gravel bike sales and the popularity of gravel/bikepacking generally, it looks like Shimano have perhaps created the ideal addition for keeping your chain at bay when riding over uneven terrain.
So earlier in the year Shimano quietly launched their Ultegra RX mechanism, a clutch-equipped rear derailleur for road and gravel bikes aimed at reducing unwanted chain movement and to minimise noise along with dropped chains.

Following Ken's bike fit with Dougie from Edinburgh Bike Fitting, we worked with Ken to spec the bike to fit him perfectly, both physically and in terms of what he wanted from the bike.
In opting for the greatly anticipated Dura Ace group-set and wheel-set we feel this build is not only amazingly functional but doubled up with the fully customizable paint scheme we feel it pretty easy on the eye too....

The Orbea Orca is a seriously fast, stiff and responsive road machine. With its beefy chain stays helping to keep the power transfer direct, in-turn making this a bike that demands to be ridden hard and fast.

Our customer Iain took advantage of the FREE custom paint options with his Orbea and despite some enormous logos,... their placement actually makes this pretty subtle. He also opted for a wheel upgrade, upgrading to DT Swiss PRC 1400 spline's which finish this bike of superbly.
