this is a lovely hotel and the rooms just spoil you there are a few flights of stair if you are at the top but once at the top well worth the climb, worth a visit.
Wow what can I say just stayed here with my partner we absolutely loved it the room was fantastic with a great view very clean and tidy the staff were very friendly and helpful I can't wait to stay hear again hopefully soon

What a little gem of a hotel. Not often that reality exceeds the photos but the room and bathroom were stunning. Spacious, stylish and great value for an Edinburgh city centre stay. We'll be back for sure.
Stayed here on Thursday night in the Loch Sheil room, it was amazing!
The room was huge, they even added a huge fan to help cool the room down in the 30 degree heat.
The staff where friendly, the room was immaculate, well presented and had some lovely little extras.
If your going to the Edinburgh Playhouse, this is where you should be staying, you can see the front doors from your room!
Stayed here last night in the loch sheil suite which was utterly fantastic! Can’t wait to go back!
Lovely spacious room with large soaking tub and shower. Staff were friendly and let us check in early and even helped with our bags. Had a great meal in Steak on Stones too. Will definitely be back!

Just had a lovely stay at this hotel ... staff were lovely room was beautiful .... had a drink in the bar on our last night and the bar staff were lovely and friendly which makes a difference ... have stayed in a few hotels in Edinburgh over the years and will definitely be back here ... the location is perfect for Edinburgh Playhouse Theatre which is why we choose it in the first place!
Hotel was lovely big rooms the only down side was we were right at the top so a lot off stairs to climb

Had fab overnight stay with my fiancé last night as an early birthday treat for him. Staff were very friendly and helpful and room was absolutely stunning. Loved all the features especially the comfortable bed and the waterfall shower. Location good to we spent time in the omni centre then the Xmas market. Would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely be back
Had a fantastic stay in one of the executive suites! Great service from staff, with letting us check-in early, taking our bags to our room without any questioning and letting us leave our bags while we spend our day in the city. The most beautiful room we have stayed in with all the extras. Will be returning!
Had a fantastic 2 night stay at twelve Picardy place for my husbands birthday. We stayed in loch katrine which was a beautiful, extremely spacious room. The bathroom was exceptional! There were a couple of minor glitches with the room upon arrival (broken toilet seat and broken wardrobe door) but neither affected our stay. The bed was large and so comfy - best nights sleep I've had in ages.
The staff are very helpful and friendly and made us feel most welcome. The location is perfect, right across the way from the omni centre and the theatre, also lots of great bars/restaurants nearby. The restaurant 'steak' which is attached to the hotel is amazing. Bit pricey but if you mention you are staying at the hotel you get 10% discount. Even without the discount, definitely worth a visit!
We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family and will surely be returning ourselves on our next visit to Edinburgh!

Amazing modern rooms, great staff, the location was ideal. In the past I've stopped at quite a few different hotels in Edinburgh including the glasshouse and this is by far the best in my opinion. Will be back time and time again.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, luxuriously modern without the expense of some of the bigger hotels in the area! Room was stunning, the location was handy and the staff were all very friendly. Their Steak restaurant, best meal I've ever had. I can't recommend the hotel or their restaurants highly enough! Would love to go back in the future :)
Lovely room, small but had everything you'd want, lovely bathroom and the skylight window above the bed made you feel like you were sleeping under the stars. The mini bar is an honesty sort of deal and was pretty cheap considering it was a mini bar
