I really wanted to share Ellie‚Äôs story today as she has just launched our local food hub through ‚ÄėGreatBritishfoodhub‚Äô and it has had an amazing response from Aberdeenshire with more orders than any other foodhub in its first week. It is the perfect thing to do in these challenging times. Today is the first day of deliveries and I wanted to wish Ellie well and thank her for helping so many local producers get their products onto peoples tables during such a difficult time. Given the current situation we all must try our best to support local producers and community where we can. @north_east_food_hub allows you to shop local from the safety of your own home, with deliveries starting from Wednesday onwards! Well........the planes ‚úąÔłŹ have stopped, cars ūüöó have stopped, the world ūüĆć as a whole has pretty much stopped and the Co2 levels have dropped! Yet the farmers haven‚Äôt stopped. ūüĎŹThey‚Äôre still getting up to milk the cows ūüźĄ , the lambing ūüźĎ sheds are in full swing, the cattle ūüźĄ are still being fed, the crops are being drilled, yet the CO2 has dropped. Maybe agriculture ūüöú isn‚Äôt quite as bad as the media have been making out .... maybe the world ūüĆć isn‚Äôt going to end because of our li...vestock ūüźģūüź∑ūüź•ūüźĎūüźĄ maybe, just maybe, agriculture ūüöú is actually going to be the thing to save everyone when this world ūüĆć needs feeding .....we cannot import avacados, coconut milk and mangetout from South America! ....eat local.eat fresh...ūüźĄūüź∑ūüźĎ #supportbritishagriculture ūüĎć#keepbritainfarming ūüöúūüźģūüź∑
