Roseate is our self catering holiday property and stands in the centre of Lochcarron village in an attractive south-facing position looking across Loch Carron towards Attadale.
The foreshore of the loch is only a few steps away from the front door of the cottage, literally just on the other side of the road. All the local village amenities - pub, shops, restaurants, etc. - are within easy walking distance.
The cottage has 2 bedrooms and provides comfortable, spacious and well appointed accommodation for up to 4 people.
Lochcarron is a perfect base for exploring the spectacular scenery of Wester Ross. It is ideally located for some of the finest hillwalking in the Scottish Highlands with routes ranging from easy to very challenging. There are several Munros in the area, all within easy travelling distance of Lochcarron.
The area is home to red deer, golden eagles and sea eagles, herons, pine martens, seals and otters and is therefore a paradise for those who enjoy wildlife watching. The scenery is magnificent, a combination of rugged mountains and coastline, and is ideal for photography and painting.
This is an ideal area for sailing, boating, canoeing and kayaking and hill, loch, river and sea fishing are all available nearby. Lochcarron has its own 9-hole golf course just outside the village; visitors are very welcome and clubs are available to hire.
