Roseburn Bar Description
The Roseburn has been a pub since the 1880s. A lot of the original fixtures remain. It consists of the public bar, the lounge and the jug bar or fly half. The public bar is split into 3 sections by partitions, these sections are called trap1, trap2 and trap3. Each trap is like a different pub in itself with many customers sticking to certain areas, this can lead to some healthy rivalry. Many moons ago women were only allowed in the jug bar, they were served through a hatch leading from the bar, there was no female toilet!

Was in a about a month ago night time football on tv was good atmosphere!! Took back loads of memories as my uncle and and all there relations drank in there !! Arnold and Peggy bennet ! Over 30 years ago now ! God bless the Rosie !!
Usually Impossible to get in the door when there is an International match on at Murrayfield but was really welcoming and relaxed yesterday before Edinburgh V Harlequins. Good range of beers and reasonably priced in this expensive City. Will be back.
This place is amazing, so friendly and welcoming... we came up for the weekend from Leicester and this was our second home..
I visited the Roseburn with a local (Edinburger!) and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Great beer range, friendly staff together with interesting customers & dog friendly! A great atmosphere to relax & drink ones health! I'll be back!
Great pub, good and well maintained beers. Even on match days the service is excellent. Staff always looking to see who is next to be served means swift service even when 3 deep at the bar.
Great bar , lovely efficient bar staff, loved the pies , very very friendly atmosphere for away supporters, it’s a must if your in the area.
Fab, large bar conveniently situated just off the Water of Leith walkway and a wonderful watering hole. Have been there a few times now and enjoyed each visit.
A welcome pub at the end of our charity bike ride. A few lovely pints of IPA, a blether at the bar and top staff. What's not tae like. 🚴🏽😎
2 mins from murrayfield stadium, so busy before and after a game. Always plenty staff behind the bar to cope though - never wait long to be served and prices are much cheaper than other nearby bars �
