Ross Sales & Lettings

My family and I are currently renting a property from Ross Sales And lettings.They carried out a photographic inventory before we moved in and sent it to us via email with 7 days for us to check.
The grass was over-grown,more than 2 dozen bulbs not working,cracked floor tiles,blocked whb,unwashed windows and generally needing a thorough clean and a few other issues.We reported all the defects to them within the 7 day period for 2 reasons.Firstly so that we would not be charged for any of these when we leave and secondly some required immediate attention.There was only 1 spot light working in the en-suite and we were told that replacing bulbs was up to us even although they were not working when we moved in.According to them as long as there was some light all the bulbs did not have to be in working order.It has taken them over 3 weeks to send out their maintenance man. We were not prepared to carry out any of the defects out of principle.Now they have advised that a neighbour has complained about the condition of the garden and asked us to sort this.Before letting out properties these guys should ensure the properties are ready to be let out.
These guys are incompetent and unhelpful.I would not recommend using their service but if you do then ensure the inventory is done in your presence and you take photographs to protect your deposit.
This is a lovely property that if were mine I would not let them manage.

Avoid... booked to view a property and they never showed up. To make matters worse they had double booked leaving us and another couple in an awkward situation on the doorstep of a property. Unprofessional.

Great service. Very happy. I have now sold 3 properties through Ross Sales & Lettings. Would recommend.
