This well located bright and spacious two bedroom 1st floor apartment is located just a short walk from the historic Old Town city and offers comfortable and relaxed accommodation close to all the city’s main attractions.

Situated in the thriving upper end of Edinburgh’s Easter Road, this apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay with a range of local amenities right on your doorstep and easy access to all the city sights.

The Historic Royal Mile, Palace, Parliament and Old Town are only a 10-15 minute walk away, as are Princes Street and the New Town with a range of high quality shops and designer outlets. Closer still are the Edinburgh Playhouse theatre and the Omni Centre, which has a wide range of restaurants and bars in addition to a 12 screen cinema. The apartment is also situated close (10 mins walk) to Calton Hill and Holyrood Park, where you can enjoy the countryside and stunning views right across the city.

On Easter Road itself you will find a range of good quality local shops including a specialist wine merchant, grocers, bakery and award winning patisserie as well as a good choice of take out restaurants, local pubs and supermarket. Buses run from just outside the apartment to all parts of the city and other attractions such as the Castle, Royal Yacht Brittania or the National Galleries are all easily reached.

The apartment itself offers spacious accommodation with a bright bay windowed corner lounge, 2 double bedrooms, a fully fitted kitchen and bathroom with bath and shower.

The lounge has TV /DVD, Stereo with Ipod dock and free wi-fi access for you to enjoy during your visit. Should you wish to eat in there is a dining table and 6 chairs in the window where you can sit and watch the world go by.

The apartment has two spacious double rooms. Room 1 has a double bed, hand crafted built in wardrobe and desk, chest of drawers and bedside cabinet. The second double room offers the choice of superking size or twin beds, with large double wardrobe, bedside cabinets and hand crafted built in shelving. Sleeping space for an additional 2 adults is provided by a sofa bed in the lounge.

There is a fully fitted kitchen with microwave, fridge freezer, gas hob and electric oven, washing machine and a range of utensils for your convenience. Within the bathroom is a bath, overhead electric shower and bathroom cabinet.

For younger guests a travel cot & high chair is available if you require. Please advise us when you book.

The apartment is around 15-20 minutes walk from Waverley train station. A taxi from the train station costs between £5-£10. From the airport by taxi takes around 30 minutes or you can catch the tram direct to the city centre (30 mins) followed by local bus (5-10 mins). There is free on street parking immediately outside the apartment and on adjoining streets.

We provide a 'meet and greet' service where we will give you the keys and show you around the apartment. Please contact us 7 days before your arrival to confirm the arrival time so we can arrange to meet you at the apartment.

Check in time is from 2pm on the day of arrival. For check in later than 7pm there is a £20 surcharge. For check in times later than 10 pm please contact us to discuss your requirements. Check out is by 10 AM on the day of departure. Later check out times or early arrivals may be catered for if arranged in advance for an additional fee.

Duvets, pillows, linen and towels are included in the rental and for longer stays changed on a weekly basis. Please note we are strictly a non-smoking accommodation.

This is a well located and comfortable apartment and we hope you will enjoy your stay. We provide plenty information on things to see and do in the city. Your host is also a tour guide in Scotland and can provide you with information and advice on 1 day tours or longer to sights such as Roslin Chapel, Loch Lomond, whisky distilleries, Loch Ness and the Highlands.
