Rotherwood Furniture

I recently purchased bedroom furniture and a mattress from Rotherwoods. I found the staff to be very attentive, patient and helpful with a great knowledge of their products. The quality of the furniture is excellent and the mattress is extremely comfortable. I would recommend Rotherwoods for quality and competitive prices.

The furniture and decorative items are lovely and I have bought several small pieces from here over many years. But yesterday I was spoken to in a very rude manner.

I took a photo of a shop floor sale piece sideboard on sale to send to my husband along with the measurements so he could measure the soace.

A lady asked if she could help. I explained what i was doing and she told me that photography was not allowed in the shop in order to preserve the integrity of the unique design pieces and the shop. I tried to show her that I was only sending to my husband but she wasn't interested. She said if I'd asked someone could have emailed me the details. What difference would thst have made? I'd still have an image in my possetion? Although she said there were notices of the no photo policy, my friend and i saw not a single one as we left.

She acused me of being aggressive. I did not respond to that and lower myself to her level.

As it was, my husband loved the sideboard. So this is a sale lost. As is my future custom.

I recently ordered bedroom and lounge furniture from Rotherwood prior to a house move. The staff in store were friendly and helpful , in particular Jocelyn who was very knowledgeable. They scheduled the delivery to suit our move. The delivery guys were fantastic - everything was executed in a slick and organised way. All the items were constructed and all packaging was removed. The quality of all the items I ordered is excellent and I am very happy with all aspects of my dealings with Rotherwood Furniture.

I have been a customer of Rotherwoods for many years. The staff and service is always excellent and they most definately go that extra mile. The quality and craftsmanship of goods is outstanding. Thank you all for such great care and attention.

Staff attentive when required but also give you the freedom to explore the many gorgeous ranges within the store. Purchased a dressing table, mirror and stool all of which were delivered within timescale and look fabulous. Will definitely be back and can't recommend the store enough especially if your looking for something a little different.

New shopfit, excellent stock

Bought a lovely clock and once I got it home noticed it had a little bit of damage. Took it back so store and the way I was spoken to and treated was disgraceful. I wasn't even looking for refund just a replacement. I try to support small retailers however if this had been a large retailer I know I would not have had any issues. Lost any future business and I shall be telling everyone my story.

My bedroom furniture looks amazing!!! Thank you to all the Rotherwood staff for making my dream look come true. Only had one issue with a bedside cabinet but this was replaced for me within two weeks of initial delivery. Thanks again from one happy lady!!!
