Rouken Glen Park Description

Rouken Glen Park is a 58 hectare (143 acre) historic park located next to Thornliebank, Giffnock and Newton Mearns, around 10 km (6 miles) to the south of Glasgow city centre.
The Park is steeped in history dating back to around 1530. Today the park is a mix of formal and informal spaces where you can enjoy active recreation or find quiet contemplation.
The park was gifted to the people of Glasgow to use as a place of leisure and enjoyment in 1906. Today East Renfrewshire proudly has it as their main tourist attraction in the surrounding area.
