The Rowan Log Cabin is situated within the Inverliever Forest adjacent to the small village of Dalavich on the West side of Loch Awe in the Western Highlands.
The Rowan offers you a high quality self-catering accommodation in a very comfortable and cosy cabin that offer you a true log cabin experience. The cabin sleeps up to six people plus one infant.
The accommodation consists of open plan living /dining and kitchen area.
Two bedrooms and family bathroom on the ground level. Bathroom with electric shower, heated towel rail, fan heater and storage cabinets.
Bedroom 1: double bed, large chest of drawers two lamps, bedside cabinet, wardrobe with clothes rail and shelves, two small chairs.
Bedroom 2: bunk beds (two single), chest of drawers, clothes rail, small table, lamp and two small chairs.
Both the above bedrooms have got oil- filled, electric radiators.
Loft to be accessed via ladder (deep steps): Two single log beds that can be moved together if required. Bedside table with lamp. Two easy chairs. Clothes hanging rail and towel rail. Storage chest.
All bedding and linen are provided, but not towels.
The living /dining area has got a 3-seater settee and easy chairs, dining area to seat six people, dresser with shelves and cupboard that houses all crockery and serving dishes.
There is also an additional shelving unit with a CD-player and speakers. TV via satellite and DVD via TV. A log burning stove in the corner makes this room complete.
Kitchen is well equipped with tall fridge /freezer, cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, pots /pans and all the necessary tableware. Tea-towels provided, also washing-up liquid hand wash and cleaning materials provided.
Other items provided: hair dryer, iron /ironing board, cot bed for infant.
WIFI, unlimited broadband FREE OF CHARGE.
The Rowan is less than 100 meters from Loch Aweside Forest Park’s Boat Launch Area on Loch Awe with balcony facing the Loch. Four seater bench on the balcony.
At the back of the Rowan there is a Fire Pit to use as BBQ and a large picnic bench for alfresco dining. The natural ‘garden’ is bordering the playing field which is safe and enjoyable for children of all ages and their four-legged friends.
