Great staff.

The Tannochside Branch closes for lunch, naturally, the opening hours don't mention this so it's quite easy to turn up when the bank is closed at lunch time. Then there's the large queue of customers when it opens after lunch. This combined with the fact that RBS is closing multiple branches in and around Glasgow makes visiting a branch an extremely frustrating experience that involves long trips to distant branches.

I'm working on the assumption that the bank is trying to speed up service by installing new pay-in machines at the Parkhead branch, but given that these haven't worked 50% of the times that I've used them, you can expect to add another 5 to 10 minutes wasting your time with them if you use them as they don't accept certain notes and sometimes your money becomes stuck in the machine. That then requires staff to get your money out of the machine and a wait in the queue for cashiers.

I've been a customer with RBS for 20 years but recently I've started looking into opening an account with another bank as they have managed to make putting cash into my account extremely frustrating and time consuming.
