Hello Dunfermline, The Bengal Tiger is nearly ready :) we wont be opening tonight as planned as some of the pipework in the kitchen is taking a little bit longer than anticipated however the cookers will be on from tomorrow so we can start prepping. sorry for any inconvenience if anyone was planning on popping in tonight.
RE opening tomorrow night , please let us know if you need a table and our takeaway and delivery service will be business as usual :)... if anyone might be interested we need a new bar person and another waiting staff. please call 01383 733788 or pm for further info

Nearly there now ........ we will be open on Wednesday 5pm :) we have had a few changes including a wee lick of paint, a new menu and some changes to our kitchen that we hope will make your dining experience better at the Royal Bengal :)
we are adding the final touches and the new floor laid on Tuesday
... ongoing work includes exterior paint and car park refurbish and also we will be opening a function room for larger parties and groups upstairs and also a separate lounge bar so you can enjoy music and drinks later on in the evenings

Hope you all had a fabulous new year and A huge thanks for all your support as always :) We will be making a few changes over the next month with new menu and some refurbishments to the restaurant. We will be closing on A Monday for the Month of January starting the 7th. Tried this restaurant for the first time for a chicken ceylonese takeaway. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars! Have tried just about every Indian takeaway in Dunfermline and none have come close to the quality of this one. It was just the right amount of heat without blowing your head off and extremely tasty. I won't be going anywhere else in future. Fantastic!

There is nothing to touch the royal benga l in dunfermline .the food is second to none and there staff are very friendly and nothings any problem going back this week for wee birthday and anniversary great . .

My son wanted an Indian tonight for tea and I thought what Better place to take him to the Royal Bengal, planned on a carry out meal as we had just finished swimming and wasn't dressed to go out. How ever we decided to sit in and honestly it was the best meal I have had in such a long time, food was amazing, the staff were superb, the service second to none. Well done Royal Bengal you haven't lost that special touch! (Thanks goodness I have an Indian partner to share my favourite food with now, my lovely son Max)

I have been going there for years and have always loved it. never ever had a meal I wasn't happy with. outstanding food with great service. I would encourage anybody to go.

Dinner tonight at what is surely the best Indian retaurant in Fife. New menu too so we each had something we'd not had before - a peanut korma and a kathmandu. Both superb. Couldn't not have the veg pakora to start though - never mind best in Fife, best anywhere!

Been here a few times and had no complaints. Food is great and he staff are very friendly. What else can you ask for? I love Indian food and this isn't your normal run of the mill Indian restaurant. If you haven't already been then get yourself along and see what I'm talking about. If you like curry's then this is the place to go.

Another great meal at The Royal Bengal. Lime and coriander chicken wings then a chef's speciality lamb dish (can't remember the name). Chose two rotis - one is easily enough.

The food is fantastic, however when we order online the requested delivery time is never kept to- confirmation from the restaurant is always around half an hour wrong. Specific delivery requests ignored too! But we will always make The Royal Bengal our first choice.

Had a lovely anniversary meal last night, the lamb, chicken tandoori shasklik was amazing. Staff attentive and busy, pleasant atmosphere. A free celebratory drink on the house would have been a nice gesture, maybe next time? 🍷😊

Waited 1hr and 30 minutes for delivery when just eat was showing food was delivered. Tried to get through to restaurant and was constantly line busy. When food eventually arrived was assured by delivery driver food would not be cold when it was freezing. Called to complain eventually got through and was told would receive a refund. 3 hours later still no refund and food was inedible so waste of £30.. was asked when on phone not to leave bad review however now that no refund has been received and unable to get through again to query this I'm not happy at all.

Just received our dinner late and all items were cold. Chips like rubber and non edible, it's late and both working in the morning. No point getting it sent back as it will be ages before getting a fresh dinner, our family has used this restaurant for a long time and recommend it highly. But after tonight's disappointment we will not be using you again. Also heard rumours that the restaurant is shutting down. If that is the case. Tonight's dinner makes sense. Clearly not caring about your standards as a restaurant anymore. Not a happy customer!
