Took my twin 5 year old granddaughters along and we went sailing on a lovely sail boat with Ronnie. The journey to the sail boat on the dirigible was fun too as we sped over the water, bumping on the waves. Cup of tea after and cake, what a wonderful experience sailing down the Tay. Thank you to all involved, it was great.
Stopped in for high tea and it was fab. Really tasty and very well priced. Will definitely be back x
Lived in Broughty Ferry 20 years and only just discovered the club!
Joined as a social member and the events are great. Onsite food is amazing and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Love being a member.
I've been across to the RTYC three times now,on successive Sundays, going out on the water as a trainee rower in a cox lead five man team! I'd never rowed like this before and was given good advice and training before setting out onto the water! I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed each time that I've been out, love the team ethic and have been made to feel very welcome by the members, who are of all ages! I've applied to be a member, this has opened up another chapter for me! The bacon rolls, post rowing, were excellent as well, well done ladies!
Had a fantastic day. Everyone very accommodating.. Was a great experience to be out on the Tay with Jason on his Catamaran. Had a great laugh with him. Hoping soon to join the club. Thanks
Great place
Got married and held reception there on 4/7/15. Absolutely brilliant, staff couldn't do enough to make the day excellent. Even the sun came out in the end. Food was also excellent. Highly recommended.
Arrived at 23:30 in pitch dark at Royal Tay Yacht Club and we found a visitor buoy very quickly. Now we are moored and still as a baby. Great location and very pleased that RTYC offer these buoys to visitors- thanks! And we recommend dundee to visitors
