The health, safety and wellbeing of our Residents and Staff are always our top priorities. While we currently have no confirmed cases in our home, the growing threat of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak means that we are continually reviewing measures to reduce the risk of infection and protect those in our care. We have therefore taken the difficult decision to close our home to all non-essential visits to create a cocooning environment and safeguard the wellbeing of our r...esidents. We have not taken this decision lightly, however we have a duty of care to our Residents and Staff. To ensure continued communication between residents and family members we are exploring measures to aid regular contact through telephone, Skype, WhatsApp and FaceTime. Our residents and relatives have enjoyed our themed afternoon teas over the past few weeks and also a sing-a-long with Jack MacPherson.
We had a special Valentines ŌØż’ĖÅweek at Rubislaw Park with our resident and relatives. We started on Tuesday with our themed Afternoon Tea and then today with our Valentines ŌØż’ĖÅDay Happy Hour. We also had one of our ladies giving us a tune on the piano which was lovely to hear, and another lady celebrating her Birthday ¤Äé itŌĆÖs been a busy week

What a busy Friday! We have had a great week celebrating Burns, a great Friday evening spent enjoying Scottish entertainment by Norman McDonald this evening.
