Well recommend a visit here if your in Moffat.

I always make a point of stopping in here when I'm in Moffat. Friendly staff, served quickly and the food is brilliant. Can sit on the big comfy couches too if you choose.

Reasonably priced snack food and drinks. Slow service due to food preparation time. Pleasant furnishings at front of the restaurant with sofas to sit on.

Old fashioned cafe/restaurant. Food was simple but tasty. Service was fine. Loads of seating.

Good selection of cakes. Snacks fine. Good coffee and tea. Staff not especially friendly.

If you are travelling to or from Edinburgh or Peebles this is a good place to stop just before/after the motorway. The scenic route is lovely so take a drive and stop off here when you reach Moffat.

Prompt service by friendly staff. Nice and warm and dry after a wet bike ride.

Must try this place when you visit Moffat! Hot rolls magnificent. Clean, warm and inviting. Large selection at the bakery counter.

Lovely food at a decent price

Visited this restaurant on Sunday 4th December with family 7 adults and 1 child, I have visited before and enjoyed my experience however the attitude and face of your older waitress was disgraceful, we all walked in and she didn't look too happy, we asked if we could put two tables close together and she muttered something under her breath and was not too happy so we decided not to stay where we weren't wanted and left. I feel that the restaurant wasn't too busy and that moving two tables would not have caused too much disruption, even if she had greeted us nicely and said that we couldn't do this that would have been fine but her face said it all. So sadly we wont be back in your restaurant and I visit it regularly meeting my Dad from Dumfries. There are a lot of eating places in Moffat and you would have thought she would have been glad of the business, but its probably not her business so she couldn't care less it would have meant she had to work harder on the Sunday.

Always stop here when heading north have sampled breakfast and lunches. Always have a great selection of cakes.
