I am a Blue Badge Tourist Guide for Scotland, doing a variety of tours from one-to-one walks in the city to extended coach tours around Scotland. I am a native German speaker. Edinburgh has been my home for 25 years. I love the city with all its facets, culture and peculiarities. We will have a great time exploring together the narrow wynds of the Old Town, or elegant squares and gardens of the New Town. Don't fancy the busy centre of town? We can enjoy a walk tour away from the city centre or in nearby South Queensferry or Dunfermline. For my love of food and drink - I have also qualified as a World Food Travel guide - think ahead to when things will be more accessible again. You have your accommodation booked in Edinburgh and are looking for a couple of day trips into the surrounding areas? I can organise the trip including the hire of a mini bus and lunch according to your ideas. My travels have taken me from the Borders to Orkney and the Western Isles, not to forget Dumfries and Galloway. Discover Scotland's social history, architecture, nature, food & drink, modern day life as well as the famous and not so famous people past and present.
