Exciting news...... we are now registering NHS patients again. Many will be aware our patients lists have been closed for some time. If you have been waiting to register please contact the practice ASAP as we will be reviewing the situation monthly.

Happy Easter from all of us here at Rutherglen HC Dental! The practice will be open as usual today but will be closed good Friday & Easter Monday. Emergency cover is in place with NHS 24 for registered patients with severe pain, dental haemorrhage or swelling & can be accessed by contacting 111.

Our next food bank order is ready to go next week in time for Easter & it’s nearly as tall as our lovely Debbie! 😂 Thank you again to all our patients & staff for contributing! Please remember if can spare a small tinned item such a tuna or beans when you are attending for your appointment they will be greatly appreciated! We are so thankful to all those who have contributed & continue to contribute! 💗

Thank you to all our patients & staff for their foodbank donations! Particular thanks to James Watson lab for their very generous donation. As promised we have doubled any donations made my patients, which has allowed us to deliver over 300 items to the foodbank today! We will be continuing with our collection point, so if you can spare it, please consider bringing a small tin of food when your attending for your appointment! Our patients never fail to amaze us with their generosity! Thank you once again for your continued support!

Many months ago we shared a post from our colleagues in Stewarton. We want to keep our patients up to date with the prospective changes! We are strongly supporting the British dental association on this. The thought that such changes could & would put our patients at risk, doesn’t bare thinking about. We will keep you updated as we get more information, but one thing is certain is that there are big changes ahead & we aren’t sure they are all for the best!

Our next foodbank delivery will go on Thursday! Thank you to all our kind patients that have made food or monetary donations. From now until Christmas any donations made will be doubled by the practice! Once again thank you to all our patients for their generosity, the foodbank staff work so hard to provide this fantastic, much needed service & all your support is greatly appreciated!

Can you help us help the local community?!?! Rutherglen/cambuslang foodbank are running critically low on donations! We have dropped this down to them today but given the high need for the service it’s not likely to last long! We will be acting as a food collection point for them & we know how generous our patients are!!!! If you can spare it, please consider add a few extra items to your weekly shop. High need items are: UHT milk Tinned meals - such as pies, stews etc... Tinned fruit Pasta sauce

Happy birthday to our lovely nurse Lynsey! Many of you will know that Lynsey has been at the practice for years but it’s actually been 10 years this year! Time flies when your having fun & we don’t know what we’d do without you!!! Have a great time celebrating this weekend!

We are an extremely busy practice with cancellation lists for both dentists, so giving us this notice allows us the opportunity to offer the appointment time to someone else.
