Established in 1990 as Colin Ruthven Alarms and became a Ltd company in February 2003 and operate from our offices at Rhymers Mill, Mill Road, Earlston, TD4 6DG. We gained our quality assured status from NACOSS in 1996.


Our customer base is diverse, ranging from large PLC’s, through local authorities and family businesses, to the domestic user. We are an approved Installer of the National Approved Council for Security Systems (NACOSS GOLD) and accreditation to ISO 9001 / 2000 the international quality standard as NSI – National Security Inspectorate
NACOSS is an independent body that “vets” the installations and service provided by its approval companies and it is recognised by the insurance sector as the principal inspecting body of the security industry.

We provide a 24-Hour, 365 Days a year emergency service.
