We've had a new arrival here at RFJ. Our lovely baby boy arrived on Friday night so we're taking some time out this week to enjoy him. Thank you so much to everyone who has been so patient and flexible with dates in allowing us to accommodate his late arrival!

The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of work here! Last week we fitted a huge 16 windows and a door on one property, add in 7 internal doors and a stylish garden outbuilding - to be revealed next week....is it time for mulled wine and mince pies yet?! 🍷🎄

How about our new business cards and flyers designed by our local design genius Gillian McBain photographer - we love them. So far we've had four months of solid work without posting a single flyer or card. We think this says a lot about our community in West Kilbride and the power of word of mouth so thank you to everyone who has contributed to this success. Bookings are now pushing towards February so get in touch if you have new year home improvement plans!

It's been a very busy week here with kitchen renovations, flooring and this traditional porch which needed some attention. Our customer wanted a maintenance free finish whilst keeping the traditional feature glass within the top section. We added a newly fitted base and window unit and the traditional panes are due a quick coat of white paint to tie it all in seamlessly.

We've been working hard on a lovely kitchen this week, spending that extra time and attention to detail that leave a perfect fit. Some plaster work and the all important wine rack and it will be ready to roll for Christmas!

It's been a week of doors here, oak doors, fire doors (below) and our new van doors have been getting spruced up with the RFJ logo. Look out for it on the roads next week!

It's nice to see some sunshine today after yesterday's rain. Work must go on though and sturdy gate was the order of the day yesterday. Thank goodness I'm practically waterproof after years of fitting windows in the rain!

Some work from last week blocking off an alcove and knocking through to create a useful shelved cupboard area. It's amazing the useful spaces that can be created with just a few changes.
