2nd time at Sabai last night and had another amazing meal

Tables are far to small for 4 people. Don't expect a cosy intimate table for two because you're only 1ft away from a table for 4. Why are you cramming more and more tables in here and why are the tables so small now. It's lost its relaxing atmosphere through greed, so sorry because I used to love this place.

Sabai is over-rated. Found the food greasy, too saucy with no authenticity or flavour. With that quality of food- the prices are not justifiable at all. The ambience is great and the two stars is for that. I threw up straight after my dinner in 2013. And the worst part is the manager -cannot understend why the manager is so defensive, instead of rectifying the situation. Never went back to Sabai since 2013. Not sure if the manager is the same one? But both food and manager was bad back then!

We went to Sabai for a meal with friends and will NEVER be back! Two of the starter were still frozen and the mussels they served were so over cooked that they were not edible. One of my friends ordered steak and when the waiter came over he asked who was having the pork. We advised that we have ordered steak and he replied yes pork steak. The final straw was when one of the main courses has frozen prawns in it! The waitress (who was lovely) asked her manager to come over to our table and was told no, we then went and spoke to the manager who was awful to deal with and was nasty to the waitress in front of the customers. We then realised that there were a few tables with the same issues. When we left the restaurant we were stopped by their take-away delivery man and he advised that they receive complaints all the time and the food is always this bad!! I have never complained about a meal before but there was no way we couldn’t have. I wouldnt normally leave a review but would not like for this to happen to anyone else!
