Sabor Criollo

We went to the restaurant last night for our anniversary and loved it. Food and staff were brilliant, definitely be back and not leave it so long next time!!

This is one of my favorite places in Edinburgh. I've probably eaten here more than any other restaurant in the city. Delicious food, very reasonably priced and always friendly staff. As someone who was born and raised in California, I grew up eating Latin American food, particularly Mexican food, our most popular cuisine. Compared to the other Mexican/Latin American restaurants in the area, for me, this one is by far the best!

So every Friday night my husband and I go out for dinner and recently I have been so disappointed with the whole dinning experience, nothing has hit that spot....until tonight. The most unassuming little restaurant in Stockbridge managed to turn that around. The food was excellent. The atmosphere and service faultless. The delicious margaritas. The bill gentle on the purse regained my faith in eating out. Thank you Sabor Criollo we will be back ���

My partner (who grew up in Venezuela) and I went last night, and we have fallen in love with this cosy wee gem of a restaurant. As soon as we were seated, he commented that it's the smell of his Mum's kitchen, and it did not disappoint! The food is deliciously authentic, excellent service , and also fabulous margaritas! The family who run it are truly wonderful people who made us feel at home, and happily chatted away with us - especially nice for my partner as they shared stories. Thank you! New memories were made, and we can't wait to return. Thank you again, meeting you was an absolute delight as is the food! �

Love it , great service and beautiful delicious food

I had a great evening celebrating my birthday at Sabor Criollo. The staff was very friendly and accommodating (despite a very short notice booking for a large group!). The food was excellent and arrived very quickly.The decor and atmosphere is great - absolutely loved the tree in the corner and the 'window' with tropical views! Will definitely visit soon again :)

Fab wee place. Not huge portions but when you get 3 courses for £16.90 It's perfect. Will be back.
